Police: Man wearing Obama mask robs bank

I wonder if this will generate more attention than the Rodeo Clown?



Merrimack police said a man walked into the Bank of America at 356 Daniel Webster Highway dressed in an Obama mask, suit jacket tie and jeans, and demanded money from a teller.

The teller complied, and the robber left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Police said they were able to determine what direction the robber left, and an officer spotted a man matching the robber's physical description coming from behind a business in the Columbia Circle area.

The man was identified as John Griffin Jr., 52, of Newport. Police said they believe Griffin was the man who robbed the bank. Police said he had a loaded handgun in his possession.

Griffin was charged with robbery and is being held on $75,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 20.

I don't understand why they have to rob a bank. Couldn't they just sigh up for something? These are the guys the left is trying to help, right?
