Core values up for grabs.
HOLLIS, N.H. —New Hampshire is known as a must-see state when it comes to the gorgeous change in foliage.
Among the beautiful trees are apple orchards with lots of people enjoying one of the state's tastiest treasures.
Laughter and smiles are firmly planted on visitors' faces at Brookdale Fruit Farm in Hollis, where crowds of people are apple-picking.
Whether it's a corn maze or a maze of apple orchards, farmers depend on the visitors.
Cameron Hardy is a sixth-generation farmer at Brookdale Fruit Farm.
"The weather has been cooperating with us this fall. There's been a great crop and it's really bringing out the people," said Hardy.
Since 1847, his family has been supplying apples to local grocery stores, farmers markets and individual customers.
"If you truck in apples or produce from across the country it starts to lose its nutrient value the farther it travels, so if you can get it fresh it's good for your body," said Hardy.
Hardy also said the crops peaked three weeks early this year and business is booming.
