Some common sense.
WASHINGTON, D.C. —New Hampshire's two Democratic members of the U.S. House voted for a Republican bill on Friday that would delay a portion of the Affordable Care Act over the wishes of their Democratic leaders.
U.S. Reps. Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster voted for a bill that would amend the new health care law to allow insurance companies to offer health policies that were not originally compliant.
The bill passed 261-157, with 39 Democrats voting for it. The bill would go further than what President Barack Obama announced Thursday by allowing more people to buy these policies, not just those who already had them.
Obama has pledged to veto the bill if it reached his desk.
This vote will likely get a lot of attention when Kuster and Shea-Porter are up for re-election. Both have said they support the Affordable Care Act, but have been open to tweaking how it was implemented.
“As I have said before, I support good-faith efforts to ensure that people who like their current plans are able to stay on them for another year," Kuster said in a statement. "I will continue to work with the President and members of Congress to get this right. My priority is to ensure that Granite Staters have access to the quality, affordable coverage they deserve."

Easy to vote for to make themselves look good to the people since this Obamacare has become so unpopular. However, at this point how in the world are the insurance companies expected to reinstate plans that have been cancelled already? I can see allowing them to continue if they haven't been cancelled. The feds can't get a website going but the insurance companies are supposed to perform miracles?

And it's not common sense on their part, fsh, it's fear of not getting reelected.

Yup! It's just another leftist ploy to fool people to thinking that the Dems really care. It is all show. These Democrats, all up for reelection, knew the House was going to pass the Upton plan anyways, with or without their votes.
