Republican Popularity In The Tank

Post  News Buzzard on Fri Oct 11, 2013 9:07 am

From a NBC/Wall St Journal Poll as reported in the Washington Times:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2013/oct/11/shutdown-has-tarnished-gop-brand-poll/

Obama's approval rating is at 47% while Ted Cruz sits at 14%. The Republicans seemed to have taken Obamacare off the table in their attempts at extorting it from the President. Ya think?

You mean, because nobody knows who Ted Cruz is, except those who'd vote in NB's "Popularity Contest"?

47% That means the majority think the left's president is doing a bad job. The Republicans numbers are so low because they haven't been able to slow down the damage this administration is causing.

Now maybe the Democrats will take back the House and Harry Reid will change the rules to stop those filibustering fools. afro

Keep ignoring the truth. It's a lot easier that way. That way you don't have to worry about conflicts with your conscience.

Perception is not always reality. While the media has manipulated the blame game, in time the truth will be known.

Obamacare will never work.

In order to make healthcare more affordable for some, healthcare must become less affordable for others.

Outer, WHERE have you been? You are as bad as Casy and the Crows, disappearing for so long!!! I missed you!!

Obamacare is a disaster, but I am worried once it gets in, those who get it for nothing or almost nothing will never let it go. The rest of us will continue to pay and pay and pay and pay and pay and pay and pay---

It's amazing how some can come to the conclusion that the Affordable Care Act will never work after only 2 weeks. In the meantime we have been paying for free healthcare for indigents in emergency rooms all over the country for decades, but that's okay because Obama's name is not attached to it.

The Affordable Care Act is here to stay, folks, like it or not!!!

I gotta say, "free healthcare for indigents in emergency rooms" NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD!

Surprised

Sure, give up your bank's routing numbers...

"Faulting, not the software, but the basic design approach, John McAfee, founder of McAfee, Inc. has been harshly critical of the tech roll-out behind ObamaCare.

"McAfee pointed out that, because there is no central point of control when it comes to ObamaCare’s web-based health care exchanges, almost anyone can create a site that would look completely legitimate, for all intents and purposes. From there, it would easy for hackers to get their hands on important personal information such as the birth date and social security number of would-be subscribers.

"McAfee predicted that scores of Americans will be scammed to the tune of millions of dollars as a result of the flawed design.

McAFEE: Well, here’s the problem — it’s not something software can solve. I mean, what idiot put this system out there and did not create a central depository? There should be one website, run by the government, you go to that website and then you can click on all of the agencies. This is insane.

McAFEE: So, I will predict that the loss of income for the millions of Americans who are going to lose their identities
.....”
pale

Again, I go with "inept"

Cool

When it comes to Obamacare, I guess some of us are just a little quicker than others. Very Happy  But this really should not come as a surprise. With the dumbing down of America, there are still people out there that think Obama was a good idea.

Obamacare makes things worse for 85% of the people and does very little if anything to help the other 15%. This is not progress...unless you're a Democrat.

Can you actually tell us that you believe Obamacare will lower healthcare costs for the middleclass?
Can you actually tell us that Obamacare is working?
Can you actually tell us that Obamacare is not just another entitlement program?

There is a growing contempt for the modern welfare state. Have you noticed? The growth of the dependent class has exploded and those who live on the redistributed money stolen from the earners, now regard hardworking, law-abiding taxpayers as selfish, greedy fools.

You can blame Obama for that too.

The only thing I've noticed is the Republican popularity is in the tank and it could cost them the House next year.

The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land and it won't be taken away by a few extremist buffoons in the Congress through means of extortion. If the Right Wing nut-jobs don't get their act together by tomorrow night I expect President Obama to issue an executive order that directs the Treasury Secretary to raise the debt ceiling in conformance with the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. The matter may then be decided by the Supreme Court and I seriously doubt that John Roberts will destroy the legacy of his court by voting to tank the economy!!
