Search for missing girl in 3rd day
CONWAY, N.H. —Several agencies have joined the search for a missing 14-year-old North Conway girl last seen Wednesday afternoon.
The FBI released a missing-person poster of Abigail Hernandez late Friday morning. It includes a surveillance image of Abigail taken at Kennett High School on Wednesday.
"We are here for one reason, to do whatever we can to find Abby," said Associate Attorney General Jane Young. "We are working closely with the locals, the state police and the federal government."
Young said searches will be conducted from the air, in the waterways and on the ground. Friday afternoon, FBI agents set up roadblocks to ask motorists if they had seen anything and distribute fliers.
"Tomorrow is her 15th birthday," Young said. "It would be nice to have her home."

Re: ALERT!!! - Search for missing Conway teen grows in intensity
I really hope this isn't a criminal matter; however, many of these kids show up with no explanation evident in the press.
Evidence found in 2 separate cases during Hernandez search
CONWAY, N.H. —Search teams looking for 15-year-old Abigail Hernandez made two unrelated discoveries Saturday in Conway. They found the body of a missing hiker and bone fragments from another missing person, officials said.
“It involved the tragic loss of a hiker, very close to here who passed away, and we had to call the medical examiner for that,” said Maj. Kevin Jordan of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. “One of the line searchers recovered bone fragments from a missing person a number of years ago.”
A medical examiner was called to the scene for each discovery.

Update ...
CONWAY, N.H. —As the search for Abigail Hernandez heads into the third week, as many as 60 volunteers are gathering to search for the 15-year-old.
A group called "The Mission for the Missing" is in the North Conway area searching with K-9 teams.
On Saturday two dogs that specialize in water searches will be taken out in boats to recheck Pudding Pond, located near the Hernandez home.
Residents said they are grateful to the group for helping with the search. "The Mission for the Missing" consists of private investigators, and retired and current law-enforcement from across New England.
"We get together to volunteer our time and skills, and partner with search-and-rescue teams," said volunteer Alan Tate. Fifteen teams will be assigned areas to search, working with New Hampshire Fish and Game to map out high-priority areas.
Cannon Mountain Ski Area operated a chairlift on Saturday to bring volunteers to the top of the mountain, said Tate.
Searchers will also speak with Hernandez's family to see if they have any information that could lead to the teen -- even things like what she liked to eat or drink.
"If we found a wrapper like that in the woods, it would be a clue that we would stop, mark it, tape around it and call authorities," one volunteer said.
"Mission for the Missing" has been involved in several other high-profile searches across the area and members said no clue is too small in the search for Hernandez. Crews are set to search throughout the weekend.
A vigil organized by the White Mountain Running Club has been planned for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Schouler Park in North Conway.

"Good" on the responders.
However, the evidence suggests a tragic outcome...

I took a walk around my property to take a look. You never know what you might find hidden away.
