What's young, clueless and provided the margin of victory for Obama in 2008 and 2012?

Who has been hit hardest by the president's perpetual-recession machine? Who will be devastated by ObamaCare and a burgeoning National Debt?

Finally, what group will still vote in droves for the Marxists masquerading as Democrats in 2014? Answer to all of the above: Millennials.

They've been designated the Soccer Moms of the 21st century – the key swing vote which will determine the outcome of every election henceforth and forevermore. Pundits tell us that politicians must address their concerns, or suffer the consequences – especially Republicans, who need to do a major overhaul of their party to appeal to Millennials, who have the hots for big government and social engineering.

Are Millennials still masochistic love-slaves of Obama and the Democrats? Recent polling raises doubts in some minds. In the latest Harvard University poll, only 41% of Milllennials approved of Obama (down from 52% the last time the poll was taken); 56% say they've had it with ObamaCare, and a majority thinks the president's pants are on fire.

Would that the tech-savvy wunderkinds had reached these conclusions 13 months ago.

Obama was reelected with 51% of the popular vote. At the same time, 60% of Millennials voted to continue Obama's abuse of the economy, Constitution and middle class. What part of "bitter-clingers," you-didn't-build-that and "we can't wait for Congress to act" did they not understand?

This is a pattern that has been more or less repeated in the last three presidential elections. If Romney had carried just 50% of the youth vote in Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida, he would have won the election.

More than any other constituency in play (blacks and Hispanics aren't), Millennials are enablers the party of plunder. ObamaCare isn't going to change that – unless non-fat, soy lattes aren't covered by the plans Millennials are forced to buy when they're off the mommy and daddy dole.

Politically, the term "Millennial" is applied to voters 18 to-29-years-old. (The Millennial generation is everyone born between 1982 and 2000.) Since we first became aware of them as voting bloc, Democratic strategists gloated while their GOP counterparts panicked. Millennials were going to change the political landscape – like, forever.

When we hear from the little dears themselves, it's usually to bitch and moan – Oh, poor us! We're ignored (and rightly so). We're not really as dumb as people say we are (how could they be?). College debt is killing us. Why won't the world recognize how special we are?

Here are some of the things that make Millennials so special:

They have an unemployment rate more than double the national average (16% vs. 7.1%). Doubtless that is partly due to the longest-running recession in U.S. history – The Devastation of Barack – an economy where it's increasingly hard to find entry-level positions – and in part because they're so picky about the work they will deign to do. In an MTV-survey, half said they'd rather have no job than one they hated. Wish I'd had that luxury when I was 18 to 29.

• According to the Pew Research Center, when asked what words best described their generation, baby boomers said "work ethic." Millenials said "clothes." The real things in life have a designer label.

• Again, according to Pew, three-quarters of them have posted a profile of themselves on a social networking site. One in five has posted a video of themselves – typical of visitors from Planet Look-at-Me, Look-at-Me!

• Almost 40% have a tattoo, about half of those have two and 18% have six or more. Nearly one in four have a piercing somewhere other than an earlobe. As the butler said to Liza Minnelli in "Arthur" – "Ordinarily, one must go to a bowling alley to meet a woman (or man) of your stature."

• They're less religious than earlier generations and more apt to have been raised by a single parent.

• Less of them have seen military service – 2% for Millennials, versus 6% for Gen-Xers, 13% for Boomers and 24% for the Greatest Generation.

• Millennials are a bunch of texting, Tweeting, tech-savvy ignoramuses. In a 2006 survey of high-school seniors, two-thirds had no idea of what the sign "Colored Entrance" in an old photograph meant. In 2001, only 52% knew we went to war with Germany and Japan in 1941-45. The other 48% probably thought the war was fought to make the world safe from Fiji, Nepal or Trinidad and Tobago.

• They're in hock. The average 2012 college graduate had $29,400 in student loans – about which, we're told, something absolutely must be done immediately. I have 10 times that left on my mortgage. Like me, Millennials made a choice and now must live with the consequences. Did they think their decree in Transgendered Mayan Studies would make them a hot item in the job market?

• In his book "The Dumbest Generation: How the Digital Age Stupefies Young Americans and Jeopardizes Our Future," Mark Bauerlein, a professor of English at Emory University, says Millennials "have no memory of the past." Bauerlein notes that: "Historical memory is essential to a free people. If you don't know which rights are protected in the First Amendment, how can you think about rights in the U.S.?" If you don't understand natural law and rights theory, you end up voting for Obama.

Let it be stipulated for the record that the politics of Millennials compliments their knowledge, life experience and work ethic.

They are more likely to call themselves "liberal" than other generation – 33% versus 26% conservative. This is almost the reverse of the general public, where 35% say they're conservative and 25% liberal.

After the New Deal, War on Poverty, Great Society, Jimmy Carter's Malaise and Obama's Hope-and-Change version of three-card monte, most Americans are skeptical of Big Bro. – 51% think government is already doing too much (44% say not enough). Among Millennials, 59% want government to do more – more interference in our lives, more regulation, more punishing the most productive, more ruining the economy in the sacred name of spreading the wealth – against just 37% who want less.

A majority of Millennials favor the so-called Buffett rule, which would require millionaires to pay at least 30% of their income in taxes.

Unbeknownst to the kiddies, the top 10% of wage-earners already pays most of the personal income tax. In 2009, they paid 71% of federal income taxes, while earning 43% of income.

Let's take even more. We wouldn't want them using their income foolishly – like creating businesses which would generate the jobs to reduce youth unemployment. Better give it to government, which will spend it so wisely on things like green-energy fantasies, increasing the benefits of food-stamp recipients by 30%, and welfare for illegal aliens.

Now, Millennials get to lie in the bed they've made. They are leery of ObamaCare but reelected its architect. Did they ever consider the consequences of beginning to nationalize 14% of the U.S. economy and giving bureaucrats the power of life and death?

ObamaCare is to die for. Notices have gone out to hundreds of thousands self-employed telling them that their current policies are being cancelled. It's estimated that 85% of individual plans don't comply with ObamaCare mandates. That's 16 million that could go on the chopping block.

Next, employer plans will take the big adios, as businesses are unable to cover the costs of government mandates. (A 2007 study by the Society of Actuaries predicted that under ObamaCare, costs will rise an average of 32% by 2017.) In 2009, Obama said, "We'll start by lowering premiums." He didn't say in which century.

Keep your doctor? In California, the exchange covers 47% fewer physicians than Blue Cross.

ObamaCare will destroy jobs, as employers, who could be ruined by its costly mandates, switch from full-time to part-time workers. Costs will soar. Everything will get tied up in red tape. Wonder how the gang that couldn't construct a website is going to do at running the nation's health care system?

Michael Boskin writes in the December 15, Wall Street Journal: "Medicine will become a far less attractive career for talented young people. More doctors will restrict practice or retire early rather than accept lower incomes and work conditions they did not anticipate... The pace of innovation in drugs, medical devices, and delivery is expected to slow significantly, as higher taxes and even rationing set in."

ObamaCare was always the Big Rock Candy Mountain – that's reached through the gumdrop forest and past the whirly-swirly river of chocolate.

We'll cover millions of uninsured. Your premiums will be lower and you'll have better coverage. And, if you like your plan, you can keep it – period. If you like your doctor, you can keep him too. This appealed to the welfare class, hardcore ideologues, and Millennials, who like an activist government that rolls up its sleeves and screws everything up.

Imagine lying on a gurney in a hospital emergency room, in critical condition. You've been diagnosed. Will an Obamacrat authorize the treatment? Will you even get pain meds? But, if you like your burial plot, you can keep it.

ObamaCare is the cherry on top of the whipped cream. Thanks in part to Millennial voters, we now have permanent 7%-plus unemployment, $17 trillion in National Debt (half accumulated by Obama), more than 91 million who've left the labor force, an explosion of food-stamp and other entitlement spending and 46.5 million living in poverty (up 16.7% under Obama).

I doubt Millennial discontent with Obama will have much of an impact on the 2014 elections. The president won't be on the ballot next year. Democratic strategists will stampede the sheep back to the blue corral by telling them: Republicans are haters. Republicans won't let your gay friends marry. Republicans will stop you from doing whatever it is you're doing in your bedroom. Republicans are tools of the rich.

But Millennials aren't totally in the dark. According to an NBC News survey, 59% of 18 to -29-year-olds think that life will be harder for them than their parents. Only 19% think it will be easier.

No kidding. As they exited the voting booth in 2008 and 2012, Millennials should have affixed a "Kick me" sign to their unemployed posteriors."

I hope they are not all spoiled brats and I don't think they are. There are some smart ones who understand reality.
