I happened to hear a rumor that Red Hill is away but will be joining us when he gets back. NH Buoy, I am not in touch with.

Well, New Hawk (Hound), how are you today????

Pretty good, except for a persistent hot-water leak outside. I replaced the in-line valve with one made of bronze, but it didn't fix the leak problem. I bought a PCV in-line valve, but it's leaking too.

The bronze valve had a chip in the seat—a surprise to me.

PCV valves shouldn't leak, either.



The "notch" is at 12:00, is the source of the leak and definitely shouldn't be there.

Oh no, that's not fun. Is it fixed yet?

It's still not fixed, but it's not a real bother. I've rigged a hose to run the water to storage for watering the plants.



Some long-time neighbors here in Florida now tell me they have a Dad living near Wolfeboro—who's the same age as my Dad—and served in the South Pacific Navy during WW2. Her Dad is still driving, so we all hope to gather for a chat this summer.

News Hawk doesn't unless it is his own forum. Where did he say that? Red, please don't leave, we want you here!!! My understanding is nastiness will not be tolerated here and any nasty posts will be deleted. Where was that post? I am sure if it was said here, it was missed.

Thanks Buzzard. Now that I read it and see the wink, I remember. He was kidding. He and I talked and he told me he hoped Red Hill and NH Buoy would join. That was his way of hoping to draw them in. He did not expect it to be taken literally. He has a VERY dry sense of humor.
