Remember the Kelo Decision? Empty Remember the Kelo Decision?

Daryl Justin Finizio, the recently elected Democratic Party Mayor of New London, Connecticut has apologized to the families and homeowners who lost their homes as a result of the city's decision to condemn properties in the Fort Trumbull area of that city. Those efforts began over a decade ago. A lawsuit by the victims which attempted to stop the city from taking their properties and destroying their homes ultimately led to the Supreme Court's Kelo vs. New London decision in 2005.

The main loser has since died, and all the homes leveled. The shopping center was never built.

Someone needs to be punished for this travesty!

I agree, NH. What a horrible thing. An apology doesn't do much does it?

I also agree with that. The Kelo decision was a disaster.

Could it be the judges?

Or is The Government constantly at war with the people?

BEAVER, Pa. – A widow was given ample notice before her $280,000 house was sold at a tax auction three years ago over $6.30 in unpaid interest, a Pennsylvania judge has ruled.

Ma’am,

That wasn’t your house. Somebody else built that house. Somebody else made it happen.
