Re: Republican Nightmare
Yeah sure
The REAL nightmare is the fact we have so many people in this country detached from reality. The real nightmare in this country is when people are out there selling the LIE that the economy is doing well, or Obamacare is working or a part-time job is better than a full time job.
The real nightmare is there are people in this country dumb enough to believe that nonsense.
And of course if you don’t agree…you hate women, old people, children or you are a racist.
When 39% of the public believe Obama is doing a satisfactory job; we have a problem. I really can’t see how that number can be anything north of .03%.

Interesting, you claim that "so many people in this country detached from reality", yet you trust that 61% of the people are "sane" enough to know that Obama isn't doing a satisfactory job??? Which is it??

That depends on which side of their mouths they're talking from. Ten million jobs in 54 months and ten million more people with health insurance, seventeen million cars to be sold this year and we're detached from reality?? Go figure!!

You are proclaiming the economy, job market and foreign affairs are all going swimmingly under Obama.
It is quite clear you are talking out of something other than your mouth.
I am truly embarrassed for you.

Re: Republican Nightmare
Things are going much better under Obama despite the debacle of the Bush Administration. Another hysterical fantasy coming out of the Right Wing Book Of Mythology is that this country is broke! Meanwhile US banks have 250 trillion dollars parked in derivatives, and corporations and the wealthy have trillions of dollars parked in offshore tax havens! Your assumptions that people are just that stupid must have been what led you to believe that Romney was going to win. Why are you embarrassed for me? My guy won, and the Republicans won't get a sniff of the White House in your lifetime!!!

Oh, and yes, we would have been way better off with Romney.

When you use George W. Bush as you measuring stick (and excuse) you lose the debate.
The wealth and holdings of banks, corporations and individuals is not property of the Federal Government despite what those on the left may suggest. The Federal Government is worse than broke. It is 18 trillion + in debt and 200+ trillion in unfunded liabilities.
Loyalty is an admirable trait however blind loyalty to a politician that has proven to be overwhelmingly incompetent, negligent and corrupt, is something quite less than admirable. That is why I am embarrassed for you. You have become so blinded by ideology and hatred that you can’t see or just won’t admit the truth.

Re: Republican Nightmare
Those of us on the Left understand that Supply Side Economics is a total failure over the last 30 years and a real time failure in Kansas. The banks can help us out, big time, with fees on their transactions on derivatives, and that will happen before you try to take away Social Security and Medicare away from poor seniors. That's why you will never see a Republican in the White House for the rest of your life. The Republicans just don't get it!

You are wrong. There have been good times in the last 30 years. Obama's years have been the worst in the last 30.

Re: Republican Nightmare
That's right, Clinton's 8 years were a smashing success!! Another farce coming out of the Right Wing Book Of Mythology was the assertion that the dollar was going to collapse and inflation was going to run amuck, with a bond crisis in tow. None of that ever happened and Ben Bernanke helped pull us out of the Great Recession. (Bush's Depression!) The right wing is out of touch!

Nate Silver shows the GOP in good Senate shape for November.
Remember that Republicans have to clear more than 5% to overcome election fraud!

So now it’s the free market and capitalism’s fault?
No inflation? Technically you are right; energy and food are not calculated into inflation.
Too bad we need to eat, heat/cool our homes and drive to work. We have paid more than double the amount for these essentials since the Dems have taken control. Since 2009 middleclass families have seen a significant drop in household income along with increased costs of living. The far left solution; raise taxes and fees.
I can’t wait till Mrs. Bill Clinton starts bashing Obama's policies & deficits. Those applauding the so called “accomplishments” will have their heads explode.

Re: Republican Nightmare
The reason why the Middle Class is doing so poorly is because the majority of the wealth and income gains is flowing to the top earners in the country. It's called supply side economics, and forgive me if I'm not overly sympathetic to your cries of poverty. You have made it abundantly clear over the years that you would favor taking away the social safety net from seniors. Better get used to Mrs Bill Clinton, because she will be your President for 8 years. You can't muster up anyone with a lucid thought in their head to beat her!!!

Re: Republican Nightmare
The middle class is doing poorly because the government is over-regulating and over-taxing their employers. The government is also creating uncertainty while creating market distortions making employers less willing to invest capital.
Add that to the government devaluation of the dollar making our goods less attractive overseas while increasing the price of energy (cost of doing business) and you get what we have.
Of course your side just likes to blame the rich.
By the way…
I never said I wanted to take Social Security away from seniors. I said Social Security needs to change for future retirees preferable those not yet paying into the flawed system. It will give to those who work, more options and a greater source of retirement income.
But then again there are those words liberals hate: “give to those who work”.

We get it all right—The Socialist Party will lie, cheat and steal to gain (and retain) power.
They'll tell you we don't have a Muslim in the White House. Fraud is the Ace up each of their Democrat sleeves.
