George W. Bush outpolls Barack Obama

George W. Bush is manifestly a better president than Obama.
George W. Bush pulled us out of the Clinton recession and kept the economy humming for seven years. In the post 9/11 environment, when there was a consensus that we should fight our enemies, Bush did so, leaving a free and stable Iraq that could have served as an example for all of the Middle East. There was an economic crash at the end; one which he warned was coming.
Then Obama comes in with all his hubris, unilaterally and completely withdraws our troops, against the recommendations of every single expert. Today it is a seething terrorist hot bed. Other regions that were stabilized under George W. Bush such as Russia and Libya have also fallen apart.
Obama has yet to give us a palpable recovery while doubling our debt and dividing the country along political, racial, financial and religious lines. Let’s not forget…in order to secure his own legacy, Obama forced on us one of the most unpopular bills in our history.
While I am not a big fan of many of George W. Bush’s policies, history will look upon his tenure favorably. George W. Bush was a likable, capable president who led this country through some tumultuous times.
Obama is a disgrace to the office and it will take decades to undo the damage he has done to this country.
Bush is seen in a favorable light by 52 percent of those surveyed, compared with 43 percent who still view the 43rd president unfavorably. Americans are split on Obama, with 49 percent responding favorably and unfavorably.

That's funny, considering that, for the most part, on the issues that really matter, Obama really hasn't changed a damn thing from the Bush years.Outerlimits wrote:Obama is a disgrace to the office and it will take decades to undo the damage he has done to this country.

Where did that observation come from?Anti Federalist wrote:That's funny, considering that, for the most part, on the issues that really matter, Obama really hasn't changed a damn thing from the Bush years.Outerlimits wrote:Obama is a disgrace to the office and it will take decades to undo the damage he has done to this country.
He's the only President since FDR who doesn't know that there's a war going on—or even mentions the name of our sworn "Death to America" adversary—or that our borders don't need fixing.
Not from reading George Orwell's 1984, or viewing "The Manchurian Candidate".
He's kept the Supreme Court busy with his unconstitutional edicts, and the only President to say, "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor". (Knowing Americans could be easily Grubered with that blatant untruth).
I could go on...

I could copypasta a whole slew of different articles, but I am short on time.
Suffice to say that there hasn't been a great degree of change on any front: we're still in a state of permanent war, the fedgov is still growing more powerful, and the surveillance state continues to expand.

"Permanent War?"
What part of "Death to America" has you confused?
Even Japan didn't advertise their goal in 1941—with Kamikazes limited to a few hundred "warriors"—and not a 1000 millions of zealous future Islamists.
