Boeing projected that air cargo traffic will grow 4.7% annually for the next 20 years:

Good for Boeing...B
Twenty-year predictions could look pretty dim, even in five years...News Buzzard wrote:Boeing projected that air cargo traffic will grow 4.7% annually for the next 20 years:
"Air-cargo" would "dismiss" "3-D printing" and "drone-delivery"...
(Or is "drone-delivery" what Boeing meant?)

I wonder how the 737 MAX is going to work out in some of the Southwest markets? I've flown into Chicago, Midway on a 737-800 and it's a very tight fit on 6,500 foot runways. Islip, on Long Island, has 2 runways that are 5,000 feet and the longest is 7,000 feet. I can't see a 737 MAX landing or taking off on a 5,000 foot runway.
