question regardin the time stamp
When I am logged in the time stamps on the various posts are correct (I adjusted it on my profile page shortly after EST took effect) but when I am not logged in the time stamp is 2 hours ahead of the actual time, why?

Re: question regardin the time stamp
I don't ever look at the time so had no idea it was wrong. Do you know how long it has been wrong? I looked a bit but don't see any place to correct the time. We will have to leave it up to Admin. Sorry.

Re: question regardin the time stamp
If, at the change setting clocks "back", Admin moved the clock forward, it would be wrong by 2 hours. My time is 9:24 presently.WHL wrote:I don't ever look at the time so had no idea it was wrong. Look under profile preference, you'll find the time zone setting but it seems to be a little weird, just pick an eastern time zone from the drop down menu (-5)

That would be fine if I could find profile preference. Where would that be?

Re: question regardin the time stamp
I did find timezone under configuration but there was no choice for US, just places like Asia and Africa, so I tried Bermuda time. But it looks like it didn't work. I saw no choice for DST either. I don't like to fool around too much since it's not my forum. I think I will wait for Admin.

OK, another look and I found NY time, changed it, clicked save and it looks like it still didn't work.
