Nope,

Everyone knows Obamacare is a massive failure. It was built on lies and deception, and it fails to meet every single measure of success.

It cost the Democrats the House & Senate and more states run by Republicans than any other time.

Time to stop drinking the Kool Aid the start paying attention.

The uninsured rate for people ages 19 to 64 declined from 20 percent in the July-to-September 2013 period to 15 percent in the April-to-June 2014 period. An estimated 9.5 million fewer adults were uninsured. Young men and women drove a large part of the decline: the uninsured rate for 19-to-34-year-olds declined from 28 percent to 18 percent, with an estimated 5.7 million fewer young adults uninsured. By June, 60 percent of adults with new coverage through the marketplaces or Medicaid reported they had visited a doctor or hospital or filled a prescription; of these, 62 percent said they could not have accessed or afforded this care previously.

And if you want to read an even more interesting stat, click onto the link at the above website in the box to the right that says this:
What do Americans think about their Obamacare coverage? Quick view
And you will see that 78% of those who signed up for Obamacare are happy with it, and the political party breakdown of that number shows 74% of REPUBLICANS who are using Obamacare are happy with it. The noise seems to be coming from people who have not used it.

Newly Insured Struggle to Find Primary Physicians:

"When Olivia Papa signed up for a new health plan last year, her insurance company assigned her to a primary care doctor. The relatively healthy 61-year-old didn't try to see the doctor until last month, when she and her husband both needed authorization to see separate specialists. She called the doctor's office several times without luck. "They told me that they were not on the plan, they were never on the plan and they'd been trying to get their name off the plan all year," said Papa..."

Sampling and sample size....note that the sampling is across the board in all demographic age groups.
Sample: A nationally representative sample of 4,425 adults, ages 19 to 64

Sample Size: Overall 2,098 interviews were conducted with respondents on landline telephones and 2,327 interviews were conducted on cellular phones, including 1,481 with respondents who live in households with no landline telephone access.

88% of people were happy with their health insurance before Obamacare.

Even more remarkable, back then, people using insurance were the one’s actually paying for it.  Unlike today, It's much easier to be happy when your not paying to ride.

The survey actually shows 58% say they are better off than they were, 27% say there was no change and only 9% say they are worse off.    Regarding your continued misconception and fabrication that Obamacare is free....it is not, Obamacare is NOT insurance.  From Forbes:

]Myths & Misconceptions:
ObamaCare is Free

ObamaCare is not free.  A lot of people think that ObamaCare is free because their concept of universal healthcare is “free healthcare.”  Universal healthcare is a term that politicians use because they sound better than “a compulsory insurance mandate.”  Universal healthcare is different in every country and it’s not very well understood by Americans, but the important thing to understand or know is that ObamaCare is a “compulsory insurance act.”  Healthcare is not free.  Everyone is required to have (buy) insurance, so everyone is supposed to have “affordable healthcare coverage."

Guess your reading comprehension issues kicked in again...we'll try it again...9 and a half million..9,500.000 fewer adults are uninsured today than "just like before"

The uninsured rate for people ages 19 to 64 declined from 20 percent in the July-to-September 2013 period to 15 percent in the April-to-June 2014 period. An estimated 9.5 million fewer adults were uninsured. http://www.commonwealthfund.org/publications/issue-briefs/2014/jul/health-coverage-access-aca

As for the percentage of people who have signed up using Obamacare that are satisfied vs unsatisfied...85% say there has been no change or they are better off now vs 9% that are unhappy and say they are worse off.
The survey actually shows 58% say they are better off than they were, 27% say there was no change and only 9% say they are worse off.

Finally the source of the News Buzzards comment regarding you enjoying our single payer system, not to put words in News Buzzards mouth, but it is in fact...YOU.

Sleep    You really need to do something about that reading comprehension issue.  The Kool-Aid that has been drunk by conservatives that hate all things Obama...even when the idea was their own... is absolutely amazing to me.  And then there is the fact that when Republicans tried it they overwhelmingly like it...and yet those of you who have no experience with it continue to generate bull shit....

From the third post in this thread:
And you will see that 78% of those who signed up for Obamacare are happy with it, and the political party breakdown of that number shows 74% of REPUBLICANS who are using Obamacare are happy with it. The noise seems to be coming from people who have not used it.

Doctor Shortages Produced by ObamaCare...

Post  News Hawk on Mon Dec 08, 2014 9:08 pm

When half of the Senators who voted for Obamacare don't return to Capital Hill, that's a much better "rejection-indicator" than a "scientific" poll.

Now, the Huffington Post is embarrassed to report the following:

A survey this year by The Physicians Foundation found that 81 percent of doctors describe themselves as either over-extended or at full capacity, and 44 percent said they planned to cut back on the number of patients they see, retire, work part-time or close their practice to new patients.

At the same time, insurance companies have routinely limited the number of doctors and providers on their plans as a way to cut costs. The result has further restricted some patients’ ability to get appointments quickly.

One purpose of the new health law was connecting patients, many of whom never had insurance before, with primary care doctors to prevent them from landing in the emergency room when they are sicker and their care is more expensive.

Yet nearly 1 in 5 Americans lives in a region designated as having a shortage of primary care physicians, and the number of doctors entering the field isn’t expected to keep pace with demand.

You of the one track mind:

we've really had this problem over the last 30 years, and unless we do something soon, we're facing a real crisis in health care," Saag said. "And the shortage is in all areas of medicine."

According to a 2012 Physicians Foundation survey, nearly half of the 830,000 doctors in the U.S. are over 50 and approaching retirement. They are also seeing fewer patients than they did in 2008.

The Huffington Post was wrong, and Kaiser Health was correct.

Like "Term Limits" for Congress, we've needed "Tort Reform" from Congress over the last 30 years.

Those who would become doctors became lawyers instead, and by contributing thousands to Obama, can select the "deepest pockets"—which turns out to be The Federal Government.

Republicans are listening to the people, unlike liberals who think they now whats is best for the people.

There are number of democrats in the Senate up for re-election in 2016 that are also running from Obamacare. Republicans only need six Democrats to come over and I can think of 3 off the top of my head that will.

It's unlikely that all of the Democrats in the Senate will go on record again supporting Obamacare. That could be disastrous for the party if they do.

Anyone that believes that the "old" system or "new" Obamacare system are good, has to be out of their mind. I don't know what the answer is (short of our economy totally melting and totally redoing it), but this is not it.

You're right.

The old system was profit driven by corporations that charge high premiums but do not want to pay for treatment...enter the death panels known as denial of treatment recommended by doctors...

Obamacare is a hybrid and not insurance, It also needs to be worked on, but my objection is conservatives are throwing out the baby with the bathwater so to speak because their idea was adopted by a Democrat....just as they complained when Bill Clinton "moved to the center" and adopted several conservative ideas.

Call me naive but that is the entire point of politics and negotiations...to look for the best ideas out of all of the ideas presented and adopt them for the greater good.  Not yell across the isle..."This was my idea and you can't have it so we are going to do everything we can to undermine it"!

I strongly object to one party trying to block advances that could benefit millions purely to try to gain a political advantage.

The Republicans are defending a lot more seats than the Democrats in 2016, you don't have anyone who can match Hillary's polling numbers and there will be a much better voter turnout. You're awfully cocky for a guy who doesn't have a filibuster proof or veto proof majority anywhere. I would hardly call 54 seats in the Senate an overwhelming mandate, and my money says the Republicans will totally screw up their chances over the next 2 years. Sooner or later the bell will ring in your head and you'll figure out that you're stuck with Obamacare!! In the meantime, millions of Americans are enjoying affordable health insurance, and as Obervantone said, the end result is much more important than the political gains. Wink

Let’s see what happens over the next two years. There is a lot more at work here than elections, but that appears to be all you care about.

For the record though….Right now Hillary runs 1 point behind Mitt Romney, 1 point ahead of Chris Christie, 4 points ahead of Paul Ryan and 5 points ahead of Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee.

The country has to move in the right direction. That is hard to do when the people's legislative representatives, pass laws they did not read or understand and whose cost were intentionally underestimated.

Essentially more people were made to suffer than were helped. In no country on earth is that logic accepted unless it was a despot and his supporters trying to get rich on people's misery.

Obamacare was built on a foundation of lies and will collapse under its own weight.

The democrats who approved Obamacare need to have their names engraved in a granite monument as a lesson in unethical behavior and almost bringing the country to collapse.
