Yup. Supply Side economics only worked one time; while Socialism works everywhere it's tried.

Well, I take that back—here's an essay of why Islam and Socialism are kindred entities:

Both Socialism and Islam are parasitic fascist systems that live as vampires upon the productive citizenry under their control. Under totalitarian Islamic Sharia Law, "people of the book" (Christians and Jews) are tolerated as "dhimmis" (officially subjugated 2nd class citizens) to the degree that the local emirs and sultans decree they should be tolerated. This allows the Muslim honchos to ease their grip or tighten it at will. In Socialism this relationship finds many parallels.

For example, Lenin himself, during the disastrous "war Communism" period during and following the revolution and civil war, allowed the "New Economic Policy" or NEP, where a limited form of capitalism was permitted in order to get the flat-lining economy moving again. Once it was moving, they choked the "Kulak class" off again and mass-murdered the successful NEPers. The Castros in Cuba have taken similar moves over the decades, with Cuban NEPs cycling with harsh Communist crackdowns. In all Socialist societies, for example in Venezuela today, the hated producers are tolerated by the bosses in order to exploit them, or they are rounded up and imprisoned, purely at the whim of the Socialist ruling class.

Under Islam, the local Muslim honchos can decide in one place and era to tolerate the dhimmis and exploit their economic vitality (Spain, Al-Andalus), or wipe them out in a genocide (many examples, Turkey early 20th century is one—Smyrna). But the degree of freedom permitted to the subjugated dhimmis is totally up to the local Muslim power structure. From tolerance to genocide, all is permitted when it comes to dealing with infidels.

A Closer Look at Scott Walker’s Record on Jobs

Wisconsin ranks 40th in the nation for job growth, or so says a recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report. Many in the media and political circles pounced on the release as evidence that the policies of Republican Gov. Scott Walker, a potential presidential candidate, have left the Badger State trailing much of the nation.

But the report failed to give sufficient context to Wisconsin’s job growth. The BLS, along with other reports touting similar results, ranked states based on how much private employment increased over a year.

Why might Wisconsin’s employment increase seem modest? One reason could be that more Wisconsinites than people in many other states already had jobs, which they did. Another wrinkle comes from factors like the energy boom in the upper plains states. In states like Wisconsin not so blessed with shale, job growth can seem comparatively slow.

Let’s look at Wisconsin’s employment growth since Mr. Walker took office. Since February 2011, Wisconsin’s employable population has grown by about 100,000 people, but the number of people employed increased by about 135,000. That means employment outpaced population growth significantly.

But how does it compare with national employment growth? One important measure is the percentage of the employable population that is actually employed, what the Bureau of Labor Statistics calls the employment-population ratio. The U.S. employment-population ratio has grown 1.5% since Mr. Walker took charge.

Yet Wisconsin’s employment-population ratio has jumped 2.5%—significantly more than the national improvement rate. Wisconsin is also gaining ground against other states. In February 2011 Wisconsin ranked 12th in employment-population ratio. It now ranks ninth.

Wisconsin also didn't lose as many workers as other states during the 2007-8 CRA crash.

You mean the Bush Crash, and there is a lot of space between Supply Side economics and Socialism and you just choose not to see it. On another Supply Side Debacle; Kansas has many school districts closing early because they ran out of money and the state has none to give them. I love how the wealth is trickling down to the middle class from the job creators.

No sense in clicking your heels and going home to Kansas, Dorothy. There is nothing left! No
