Keno a keen idea? Empty Re: Keno a keen idea?

The few cases I've seen of this kind of gambling convinced me there are many people who are sadly mistaken that "Their Ship Will Come In" through the ease of being led by repeated successes that follow repeated failures. There's a term for this in Psychology, and The State shouldn't benefit from this trait.

Mad

Idea "Random Reinforcement Schedule"

"It's gambler psychology. When you're winning you feel lucky and want to keep playing. When you're losing you feel like you want to play again so you can do better. Either way, you keep playing just one more game. As you learn in Psychology 101, nothing is as addictive as a random reinforcement schedule."

The last woman I saw at the lottery machine was barefoot, won $7, and returned to the machine to lose it!

I just saw that on the WMUR website fshnski. ( I just read so many sites, I think that is where I saw it.)

I think that people are going to gamble no matter what. So why should we let all the states around us collect the money? Having said that, it is true, people don't know when to quit. Some people.

It is New Hampshire that started the Lottery business, and now gambling has corrupted all the states—drawing Government income off the un-informed, dumbed-down, public—who vote!

Keno a keen idea? Empty House passes budget plan without casino fee

Post  fshnski Wed Apr 03, 2013 6:13 pm

CONCORD, N.H. —New Hampshire's House has passed the companion bill to an $11 billion, two-year budget that makes law changes needed to implement the spending plan.

he House voted 194-172 Wednesday to pass the budget. Five hours later, it voted 193-166 to pass the second bill. The Senate next takes up the budget package.

Unlike Gov. Maggie Hassan's, the House proposal does not count on $80 million in fees from licensing a new casino. Without the revenues, budget writers propose scaling back education aid, such as giving a smaller increase to the state's university system and putting off implementation of a new school construction program.

The proposal also would place a moratorium on new charter schools.

The House proposal spends about $52 million less than Hassan from state tax sources.
