These idiots actually believe this stuff. I can’t think of a better example of irrational "group think" and a reflex regurgitation of Marxist doctrine without a moment of mental processing. This is the exact type of thinking that has led to the exoneration of poor parenting and the abandonment of the responsibilities of raising a child to "the community".
Parents are by far the greatest influence on a child, not "the community". My wife and I are pretty busy people; however we are both very involved in their lives. After all, they are the most important thing in our lives.
If you want continued declining test scores and fostering a "community" that bears no personal responsibility, keep supporting that concept of "communal" raising of children. I agree with Dr. Carson that the biggest threat to this country is the breakdown of the family.

I can't even begin to believe the way these people think. You are right, that is pure and simple Marxist! I hope those with some common sense wake up and reverse the cycle that this country is going through. Send these crazy people to Russia! Give us back our country!!!!

The title of this thread still gives me the chills. THank God we still have the House. Pray, we don't lose it in the next election. It has been our only saving grace, since Obama's reelection-in fact since mid term of his first term.
