Medical advances can be costly for your particular ailment: with Socialism's "help", the costs—through adding additional Washington bureaucrats' new "jobs"—will soar to outrageous.

Executives in Washington are supposed to work for us—they don't. They continue to advocate for the most costly agenda in the history of the world.

They absolutely don't vote for us. They don't care how much our health insurance costs us as long as they can get more taxes out of us.

BTW, I heard last night that more people are moving to the red states from the blue states.

I overheard a conversation among friends and acquaintance's. One guy says, "The government wants me to have a phone and a computer to stay on top of things." My immediate thought was, That's a great way to say you found a way to get some free handouts.

It's so nice to stop in here on the Forum of Gloom and I see that you folks are still bitching about Obamacare. Between both houses of Congress there has been something like 55 attempts to repeal Obamacare since it's passage on March 23, 2010, to no avail. Let us take a look at the feasibility of a repeal of Obamacare. Right now, because of gerrymandering, the Republicans hold the House, and the Democrats hold the Senate. That could all be a crap-shoot in 2014 as either chamber could change their majorities. Even if both houses went to the Republicans, Obama is not going to sign any bill that would repeal his signature legislation, so Obamacare would not be repealed until at least 2017. Now let's take a look at the national election in 2016. There is a strong possibility that Hillary Clinton is going to run on the Democratic ticket. Who on the Republican side is formidable enough to beat her, Rand Paul?

On another note, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan went down to defeat last Fall, with one reason being the Paul Ryan voodoo budget with hardly any specifics. So what do the Republicans in the House do a couple of weeks ago? You got it, they once again passed Paul Ryan's budget! That should be interesting, come the mid-term elections.

Finally, the country is nowhere near broke! Right now, our public debt is somewhere near 73% of GDP and that won't go up anytime soon. Also, our economy is picking up steam, despite repeated attempts by the Republicans to scuttle it.

It was so nice to stop in and visit the Forum of Gloom, and maybe I'll be back in a few weeks!

So nice of you to stop by and visit our "Forum of Gloom". We are only gloomy because we have a president who has no idea what he is doing. You would think he would have learned a few things after more than four years, but no, he continues in the same old way with the same old ideas that are killing this country.
We are just thankful that in the mid terms, the Dems lost the house so that we could stop most of Obama's, Reid's and Pelosi's country destroying ideas. The first couple of years of Obama's term was just a runaway train. Thankfully the house stopped O and the Dems.

He's "getting-even"...

I wouldn't say he doesn't know what he's doing. Though, I still don't understand his qualifications for president. It seems to me the left picked the wrong guy to get things accomplished. The Democrats are as bad as Christian Fundamentalists, who call the Dems the American taliban, in the way they treat any opposition. Disagree with the left and their ideology and your'e a racist. They knew they had a chance of alienating half the country and didn't care. Now it's everybody else's fault that our country is so divided. The Republicans are no better. They do the same things. Their problems started when they began to lose the airwaves. The Democrats were able to turn it around by doing the same thing the Republicans had done only they did it better. O'Reilly and the like were outcompeted by the likes of Colbert and the other guy. They have half the world believing that "angry old white men" shouldn't count and that they're racists. They think they can teach the world to sing but can't even get along with half our own country.

Did anyone watch or hear Stossel last night? It was about Obamacare and I could hardly listen to it. The rules and regulations stand SEVEN FEET tall. It has 300,00 codes and we think the 30,000 or so that we have now are bad. It will cost one doctor around $80,000 to set it up for the new codes. If there are more doctors in the practice of course it will cost much more. For instance if you get bit by a dog, there is a code for each kind of dog. If you get bit by a turkey there are about 7 codes for that. These are things I remember and since I was half asleep, I wouldn't want you to quote me on the numbers. Hopefully I or one of you will run across a link. My point is they can't get the codes right now, what is going to happen once all these are in effect?

Now even Reid is saying we don't have enough money to support Obamacare. It is going to cost far more than expected. He says we need more taxes to support it.
