Is anybody in control?
A two-star general who commands U.S. Army forces in Japan has been suspended from his duties for allegedly failing to report or properly investigate an allegation of sexual assault, the Army said Friday.
Maj. Gen. Michael T. Harrison was suspended by the Army chief of staff, Gen. Ray Odierno, and Army Secretary John McHugh, the Army said. It provided no details about the alleged sexual assault case.
Until the investigation of Harrison's role is completed, Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer will take his place in Japan, the Army said.
Harrison already had been selected to become deputy commander of the Army component of U.S. Central Command, based in Kuwait. That new assignment was publicly announced in February by the Pentagon, which said at the same time that Boozer would replace Harrison as commander in Japan.

Here's another example of a country without a firm leader. If your leaders advocate "working the system" what to you think the followers will do?

"I have nearly no respect for Obama nor his philosophy, even so, I was shocked to learn today that He and His are secretly carrying out a domestic surveillance program under which they are collecting business communications records involving Americans. Bear in mind the records seized are not necessarily foreign calls, but are all calls taken or placed by hundreds of millions of Americans. The order issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in April, directs a Verizon Communications subsidiary, Verizon Business Network Services, to turn over “on an ongoing daily basis” to the National Security Agency all call logs “between the United States and abroad” or “wholly within the United States, including local telephone calls.” It is nearly certain that that all of the other cell phone and communication carriers are under similar order.
It is happening, it is fact. It is also fact that when the enabling legislation was passed 7 years ago, Obama vigorously opposed it. But since then he has exploited it like no previous president and has expanded it far beyond the parameters contemplated by the authors of the legislation.
We know Obama promised to deliver the most transparent administration in history. He and his have morphed into style of governance of The Soviet Union, and East Germany. The government has used the IRS as a political howitzer to attack its political opponents. We know from the testimony of low level IRS staff that these acts were not the misdeeds of low level employees, but rather originated well up the management hierarchy.
Now the government has seized the phone records of the Associated Press, they seized the records of a Fox reporter and his parents. The very latest revelation is a government program code named “PRISM.” PRISM taps directly into servers of 9 major internet companies collecting whatever data it wishes. You really should read the Link
We have come to a place where the government has the power to learn secrets and to probe your very thoughts.
For the good of our society you should join with the 68% of Americans believe that the government is out of control. We must reign it in."

This is not the type of government we should expect or that we should except.

Re: Is anybody in control?
But doncha' know that all this is just a Republican fishing expedition to keep the wonderful Democrats from doing the country's business, like the foreclosure problem and the getting Americans back to work? (Stolen from some jerk who was on the Lady Judge's (Janine?)program on Fox last night. (might have been a replay on the radio.)

The Founders knew of Tyranny—we're only just now catching up!

“What we’re talking about are small amounts,” said Mitch Alter, treasurer for the Committee to Re-elect John Sampson. “If mistakes were made, we’ll correct them. There’s nothing nefarious here.”
Where did the money go?
Embattled state Sen. John Sampson’s (Dem) campaign filings are peppered with missing cash and phantom refunds, The Post has found.
In three cases, money paid by political action committees to Sampson’s re-election campaign from 2009 to 2012 does not show up on his records.
Lawpac, run by the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, donated $3,000 on June 17, 2009, state campaign-finance records show. But two days later, Sampson reported receiving only $1,000 from the group.
The Lawpac check was cashed for its full $3,000 amount on June 22, 2009, a source with knowledge of the payment told The Post.
The Educational Leadership PAC gave a $1,000 contribution to the Brooklyn Democrat’s campaign on Jan. 22, 2010. But the campaign reported receiving just $500 from the group and not until April 21, 2010.
The Committee for Action for a Responsible Electorate PAC reported a contribution of $1,000 to Sampson’s campaign on Jan. 21, 2010. A spokesman for the PAC says the check was cashed for its full $1,000 amount on Feb. 2 2010. The cash does not show up on Sampson’s records, state campaign-finance records show.
In addition to the missing money, The Post found Sampson mysteriously refunded $11,450 in donations to at least eight PACs in 2010. However, the refunds do not show up as receipts in the campaign filings of the PACs, which include the Real Estate Board PAC, Uniformed Firefighters Association/FIREPAC and the Pharmacy PAC.
