Corruption Scandals Led to Harry Reid’s Abrupt “Retirement”

You’d never know it from the mainstream media puff pieces of Harry Reid’s sudden retirement, but it was a long string of corruption scandals—including a recent one involving his attorney son—that drove the veteran Nevada senator to abruptly leave public office. For nearly a decade Judicial Watch has investigated and exposed Reid’s involvement in a multitude of transgressions and JW even warned the Senate Ethics Committee, but not surprisingly, no action was ever taken.

On multiple occasions the Senate minority leader appeared on JW’s “Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians” list for his role in a number of political scandals.

It doesn't seem possible, but seems likely that he got beat up, and is quitting the Senate.

You remember Harry Reid, the ex-Senate leader who built the $621 million Capital Visitor Center in order to keep the smelly tourists away from his sensitive nose (that somebody apparently decided needed the snot knocked out of it).

Well, Reid finally admitted that his 2012 Senate floor accusation about Mitt Romney not paying taxes for 10 years was a lie, he knew it was a lie and he just did it to prevent him from beating Big Guy. Because winning – “by hook or by crook”- is the new Progressive political standard for truthiness."

The Chief of Capitol Police has quit, for stonewalling on the story. There's good reason to believe it was his brother who beat him up. (And not exercise equipment).

Yes confirmed by several sources:

The outgoing Senate Minority Leader even bragged to CNN that the comments, which had been described as McCarthyism, helped keep Romney from winning the election.

"They can call it whatever they want. Romney didn't win did he?" Reid said during a wide-ranging interview.

So, in Reid's world, it is perfectly acceptable to make a defamatory charge against an opponent to damage his campaign.
