Racist Nazis? Or another Democrat hypocrite?
I guess I'm a Nazi too.
A top House Democrat has blasted conservative Internet bloggers for spreading lies and “manufactured controversies” about President Obama, equating their actions to Nazi propagandists.
Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., told Sirius XM’s POTUS show on Thursday that while race relations have improved in the U.S. under Obama, “right wing bloggers” — with the complicit help of the mainstream media — have unfairly demonized the Obama administration and other favorite conservative targets.
“You have people’s words and phrases being misrepresented and looped through the news media and thrown out there on the Internet, and people run with it because these things start getting reported in the mainstream media, and before you know it, people believe that stuff,” according to an audio link of the assistant House Democratic leader’s satellite radio interview posted on Mediaite.com.
“Now you know, the people of Germany believed Hitler’s foolishness that led to the Holocaust. They believed that stuff. And people will tend to believe what they hear through the media.”
Clyburn said such “manufactured controversies” have had a chilling effect, saying they have led to Congress defunding the community organizing group ACORN, and the firing of former USDA official Shirley Sherrod after an edited video of her surfaced where she made seemingly racist remarks.
“President Obama has had so many of his activities misrepresented, and the [mainstream] media have not been discerning enough, in my opinion, to say to people, ‘this ain’t news, this is foolishness.’”

"Clyburn is an utter imbecile. The act of analogizing to Nazi conduct and atrocities should be made sparingly, and never lightly. Doing so casually, as Clyburn does, in a situation that doesn't remotely come close to warranting it, trivializes the Nazis' actions, and insults their victims.
But, I'm not surprised -- the Dems' infantile equating of criticism and scrutiny of Obama with racist antagonism towards the glib-tongued hustler is a manifestation of the success of Obama's cult of personality, and the awed infatuation of his lemming-like followers.
It's also ironic that Clyborn invokes H!tler as an historical reference, as many of H!tler's political skills -- gilded oratory, charisma, an ability to sway the masses through demagoguery, lies and distortions, and, of course, the scapegoating of certain members of society as being the source of the country's ills -- are the very same tactics used to great effect by Obama in his rise to political prominence and during his tenure as President.
Also, recall Obama's lament to his supporters a few months ago, in which he showed palpable regret that he couldn't act like a dictator, and had to abide by Constitutional strictures on power, and power-sharing with Congress."

Cult of Personality is not just Hitler:fshnski wrote:"...the Dems' infantile equating of criticism and scrutiny of Obama with racist antagonism towards the glib-tongued hustler is a manifestation of the success of cult of personality, and the awed infatuation of his lemming-like followers..."

That Potus program on XM seems to be very liberal. Most of the time when I try to listen, it is too liberal so I change the channel.
