Limit on number of post per day

Shouldn't there be a limit on the number of post per day.

We have a member who has already posted 44 times today. It's almost like he/she doesn't think we are capable of searching for our own news.

It would be nice if maybe 10 or 15 post a day would probably be OK.

Flooding the forum with nonsense and all one sided turns me off.

You must be talking about the crow twins. There are two of them.

Donzel, lighten up as someone else on here said. Don't take it so seriously. If you don't want to read all fsh's post, just don't. Why is that so hard? It seems like some people want to make excuses to leave a forum and it sounds like that is what you are doing. We don't want you to leave, but if fsh bothers you so much, I can't stop you. I am not the admin, so I can't make a post limit, but I don't think the admin. wants to limit a lot on this forum so I doubt if he will agree with you. I am sure if he agrees with you, he will pop in and say so.

It seems to me that you post on a forum and leave and then come back and leave again etc. It is your choice, but we hope you come back.

This forum has picked up a lot lately, as I think it was NH said:, "Stop, so I can go sailing!" Let's not slow it down as it is growing. I personally would still like to see more local items though. I get tired of the national bickering all the time. But then, we would probably bicker about town hall----

The fact is even though there's a lot of heated politics on this forum, fsh contributes nothing but hateful articles and then completely acts like a petulant child when anyone challenges his posted article. Donzel, don't leave, that's how the hatred grows, stay and fight man...

We are all capable of searching for our own news, Don. We just like to share it with others sometimes. Obviously though we are so different in our beliefs, that it is not a discussion but an argument. And I admit it gets old sometimes.

The reason we share so many links is because your friends on the old forum would not believe anything that we posted unless there was a link attached. I personally don't see why you can't just make a statement without a link, but got in the habit of linking because of the complaints. I am sure NH remembers this.

I'm all for not posting links as long as the forum member reads the complete article and posts what the article is all about in a condensed form.

Try to understand what the article is saying and present it to the forum.

Just cutting and pasting and not really reading the whole article will sometimes make a fool of the poster. Also posting @50 cut and paste articles a day is a waste of time and forum space,

I do think it is nice if we post a link, if we include a sentence about it at least. If the title tells what it is about then I guess it doesn't matter. You can choose to open the link or not.

Actually, I don't think it's about "limiting posts" but more about posting important news that could be useful in promoting sensible discussion...you post nothing but hateful, divisive nonsense.

You can blind yourself by only reading what you want. There are other opinions as valid as yours. Like you don't hate you racist carpet badger. You hate me, you hate southerners, you hate the right and you hate everything that made this country great. Don't you have anybody to bother in where ever you live.

If you posted stuff the News Crows liked, fsh, they wouldn't have any problem with it. They are the ones who always wanted the links, links, links.

Now they don't like the links because it proves that we here in Wolfeboro are not the only ones who have had enough. You can blow off the way one person feels but when you prove others across the country feel the same way they start to get scared and call for censorship.

Very well put. I'm not trying to limit anything as long as the poster can articulate what the article in the link is taking about. If someone posts @ 50 times a day then surely they don't completely understand what the article is all about.
We also go from one comment to another and don't completely finish any of them.

Also try to have some compassion about other peoples views.

I like to tee up a link with a brief explanation, so as not to be accused of distorting the meaning of the article.
