"[Y]ou would have to be at home port or a rented slip somewhere each night. You cannot anchor overnight on Winni, unfortunately.
"

Sometimes it's unsafe even to sleep at an island home at night!

Shocked

I noticed that post and when I read it I thought I am really glad overnight mooring is not allowed. Can you imagine what would be put into the lake if there were hundreds of boats mooring overnight? I know what we see when they are moored during the day.

The few I've witnessed, leave the scene early in the morning, and take off for parts unknown.

It may have been a coincidence, but shortly after Merwin Horn died, an overnighter appeared twice off his place while his waterfront was in probate court.
