NOTHING is his fault.

0bama preemptively blamed congressional Republicans for the next six months of economic weakness, saying they didn’t avert sequestration because lawmakers “paint horns on [his] head” rather than negotiate.

“We shouldn’t be making a series of dumb, arbitrary cuts to things that businesses depend on and that workers depend on,”

Would that be the same "series of dumb, arbitrary cuts" that he proposed and threatened to veto efforts to get around?

Obama said: “Every time we get a piece of economic news over the next month, the next two months, the next six months . . . we’ll know that that economic news could have been better if Republicans in Congress had not failed to act . . . They decided to protect special interest tax breaks for the well-off and the well-connected.”

Who could imagine that we would have a President that would be able to continually blame others and it is accepted by the media and the left?

I have plenty issue with the GOP, however, it isn’t as if they haven’t offered up budgets that Senator Reid refuses to vote on. Obama and the democrats do not want to cut. We now have record revenues and they want more. The problem is we have record spending. You want proof? The Democrats final proposal to avoid sequestration was actually an increase in spending. ONLY the democrats could bring spending increases to debt reduction talks.

There is no way in hell we can continue to keep spending. And there is no way we can make very significant cuts most people wouldn’t notice.

A leader would sit with the GOP; go line by line as he said he wanted to do in 2008.

A leader would call out to all government agencies and not ask them to start firing people. But ask them to go through their budgets with a fine tooth comb and get rid of waste. Has ever done that?!?! NO.

I realize there are establishment Republicans (coincidentally the kind liberals want more of) who are not responsible economically and aren’t doing the right things. But the biggest problems we have right now are a result of high spending, no budgets, and new rules/regulations associated with Obamacare and the EPA.

But hey…

He just started his term and he inherited quite a mess from the last president. Very Happy

You are so right, outer! He has finally stopped blaming Bush (most of the time) and now it is all the Republicans fault. And how does the media fall for it? Because they NEVER disagree with him. He is God, his word is law. I love how he keeps saying that we need a balance but his balances always include way more spending than cutting. And when he does want to cut something or raise taxes, he wants that more to go to more programs, more spending. The man has a magnificent way of twisting his words to sound like me means one thing, when that is not what he really means at all.
