WaPo Hit Job on Kochs Relies on Soros-Funded Facts
The Washington Post slammed Charles and David Koch for their “political network” on the paper’s front page Jan. 6, but they partnered with a group funded by George Soros to get their information.
The Post proudly stated its partnership with the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP), a group they labeled “nonpartisan.” Nowhere in their 2,457-word hit job on the Kochs, did the Post mention CRP’s Soros funding or Soros’ similar network of organizations and media outlets he uses to influence politics and the economy.
Apparently blind to the hypocrisy, the Center for Responsive Politics has received $725,000 from liberal billionaire George Soros’ Open Society Foundations since 2000. To the Post, the CRP was merely “a nonpartisan group that tracks money in politics.”
The Post attacked the Koch brothers, as well as a number of right-leaning groups, including the NRA, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Americans for Tax Reform.
The Washington Post only briefly touched on liberal donors, admitting that “[t]he left has its own financial muscle,” but it failed to mention Soros at all. While the article brought up liberal funding from unions and the liberal Democracy Alliance (an organization of liberal billionaires and strategists), it also failed to mention the money that other liberal billionaires and foundations have given.
In the past 10 years, Soros has given more than $550 million to liberal organizations in the United States. That total represents about 27 percent of the $2 billion given out by the American branches of his Open Society Foundations from 2000 to 2009. The Center for Responsive Politics received an additional $100,000 from liberal journalist Bill Moyers’ Schumann Center for Media and Democracy in 2004.

They also failed to mention that Soros (and his father) were Nazi collaborators!

Is Soros the Perpetrator against Ukraine Freedoms?
Title: George Soros’ Giant Globalist Footprint in Ukraine’s Turmoil
Excerpt:
"Billionaire investor/activist George Soros has a giant footprint in Ukraine. Similar to his operations in dozens of other nations, he has, over the past couple of decades, poured tens of millions of dollars into Ukrainian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), ostensibly to assist them in transforming their country into a more “open” and “democratic” society.
In the cash-starved Ukraine, Soros’s dollars go a long way toward seducing and co-opting all legitimate political opposition into the Soros-approved “progressive” camp.

This is a moment filled with possibility, one in which America might awake from the befuddlement of the post–Cold War era and the hangover of Iraq. Alas, President Obama seems more likely to hit the snooze button and go back to sleep. It is up to the other branch of government and the opposition party to do what they can — start the process of rearmament — when the commander-in-chief will not.

Wars are wasteful spending but they eventually wind down and end.
Social programs on the other hand never end and the spending always increases. We all know all social programs eventually eat up government budgets yet the Dems keep pushing for more and more.
A long time ago, a very wise man once said: “The world owes you nothing.”
Today we have the Radical Left telling us they are entitled to other people’s stuff.
Yes this country has fallen a long way.

The cost of everything goes up and that's why we have a CPI, but the United States does not have anywhere near the network of social programs that we see in Europe, and what we do have are needed by millions of Americans. Unfortunately there is a very dangerous wealth gap in this country, similar to the early 20th century and criticized by President Teddy Roosevelt, a Republican.
The good news is the social programs, including Obamacare, are not going anywhere! That ship has sailed, thankfully!

IF you had the ability to send billions of U.S. taxpayer's money to the government of Haiti, would you do it?
Haiti is one of those failed states that makes it clear that no amount of money can make the government—or the people—"well".

Silly NH, of COURSE he would send OUR money to Haiti. He would take our money and give it to everybody else being the true Democrat that he is. (Just don't take his SS or Medicare or retirement away from him.)

No. I would send billions of dollars to Detroit to get it back on it's feet, much like the government successfully did with New York 25 years ago. I believe that all charity should start at home, especially when it comes to creating jobs.

The investment in New York was money well spent, as there has been a renaissance throughout the city. The population and tax base is way up, and neighborhoods that were once burned out are now thriving! It would be foolish not to help Detroit.

They never mentioned the evil man behind the money.
If it's bad for America, Soros is behind it!
On the other hand, George Soros, a confessed Nazi collaborator in his native Hungary during WWII, has been donating millions of dollars to leftist groups and candidates, mostly all Democrats, and there is not a peep out of the media and the Democrats, about his past sordid life. Soros, an admitted atheist and Socialist, has done exactly like what the Koch Bros. have done, but only to the Democrats and left-wing groups and organizations.
In fact, George Soros, spent $26 million of his own money trying to defeat George W. Bush in 2004.
