U.S. begins bombing campaign in Syria.
Of course starting a war without Congressional approval against two countries might be considered out-Bushing…Bush.
I'm waiting for the entertainment industry and Progressives to start their wailing about Obama and his "illegal" wars, comparing him to Hitler, proclaiming their embarrassment, etc.
You think they'll be consistent? Guessing not, but we'll see.
While I support destroying ISIS in theory, I am not at all comfortable with how this administration has handled national security & foreign affairs.

Yes...yes, of course....lets just ignore the fact that Congress decided to go campaigning rather than deal w/ ISIS (some would call Congress outright chicken-shit for refusing to take a position)......but I'd expect nothing less from the republican bubble, than to trash talk the black man in the White House. Where's McCain and his girlfriend Lynsey?

You might be able to make that argument if Obama made the same pathetic excuse you just made.
He didn’t.
Obama claimed he has the authority to do this by himself in his constitutional role as commander in chief.
No doubt with double talk and semantics his lawyers can make the legal for that position. That is beside the point. When a commander in chief proposes to engage in acts of war that are not part of a short-term emergency but are commitments that stretch over an indefinite period of time, he should ask for formal congressional approval even if the letter of the law does not require it. It is the spirit of the law, arising from the constitutional declaration that “Congress ... shall have the power to declare war,” that matters. Simple “consultation with legislative leaders” is not enough.
Even Candidate Obama Version disagrees with Commander and Chief Obama.
There was no direct and imminent threat to the US according to the Whitehouse, so therefore it was illegal to do without going through congress.
Sing it with me.

Well, at least he didn't have a U.S Marine hold his coffee cup while he returned the salute.

Re: U.S. begins bombing campaign in Syria.
I could at least respect Pigeon and Buzzard’s positions if they were consistent.
Obama said:
NO president has constitutional authority to authorize a military action"absent approval by Congress if there's no imminent threat to America.
Obama unilaterally attacks targets within sovereign nation without Congressional approval. Obama has killed so many people with drones he has told his aids that he “I’m really good at killing people.” Obama’s United Nations ambassador Samantha Power said the real purpose of the fight against ISIS is to overthrow al-Assad and the Syrian government.”
How can Democrats, Progressives and Liberals even begin to reconcile this in their minds? - They can’t
Be honest...
You both never cared about the blood and treasure lost in Iraq, it was strictly political and an avenue to attack the Republicans.
Illegal war! is all the left could shriek in 2003 for Bush’s perfectly legal war.
Now, meh. Who cares? The left shrugs their collective shoulders.
You approve of Obama starting an illegal war and going against his own words all because he has D next to his name.

Great comeback Potsie
When you can’t defend your weak statements and weaker political heroes, you two just make poop jokes.
Since your radical liberal is now in charge it's OK to go to war. It’s OK to bomb brown people and all criticism of war seems to evaporate. The Rallies, the daily death tolls pretty much ceased once Obama became Commander in Chief.
Cindy Sheehan spoke up and showed she isn’t just a political hack like the two of you. I can actually respect her for that.
Bottom-line: If you are a supporter of Obama's foreign policy (leaving aside his disastrous domestic issues), you are a supporter of MurderInc and Empire. I know most of you don't really support these policies but for some weird reason think you need to circle the wagons around The First Black Presidentwho is just as vigorously an Able Servant of Empireas the 43 white guys before him. "Humanitarian Intervention" is not only an oxymoron, but a big propagandistic myth to get you to support murder and mayhem from a (D).

Re: U.S. begins bombing campaign in Syria.
Good response, News Pigeon!! Apparently Outerlimits didn't get the message that our multi-nation attack on Syria was to prevent imminent attack planning against the US and other western allies by the Khorasan group.
http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/975374-us-arab-allies-strike-islamic-state-in-iraq-and-syria-stop-imminent-attack-plotting/
If that isn't an exigent circumstance, I don't know what is. Instead, Outerlimits prefers to attack us personally in his never ending quest to bash Obama. It's not uncommon to see right wingers speaking from both sides of their mouth! If Obama doesn't act he is weak, and if he does act he is conducting an illegal action without the permission of congress. (which has already left town) The right wing frequently likes to forget that Obama is the Commander in Chief, and if they don't like it they can just go and file another frivolous lawsuit. Sore losers are good at that!!

I don't recall EVER saying it's OK but we're stuck in an endless position of defending these nations until they can protect their own damn oil! Your boy Georgie created this one, remember...Cindy Sheehan spoke up and showed she isn’t just a political hack like the two of you. I can actually respect her for that.
PULEEEEEZE....YOU respect Cindy Sheehan!! You're just low enough to jump on her bandwagon when it suits your need....BTW you're really morally deficient when you can exploit a woman who lost her son to an illegal war.

You are purposefully conflating two separate actions in an attempt to confuse the issue.
The attack on the Khorasan Group was a separate action from the war against the Islamic State. The Khorasan Group is not ISIS, it is a cell of Al Qaeda militants in northwestern Syria and yes it appears they were a direct threat to the United States. Although Kerry would not specify what threat that would be.
The Whitehouse officials that claimed the Islamic State is not an immediate threat to the United States.
On Sunday September 21st Obama stated “The Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isis) could spread conflict to neighboring states and pose a medium and long-term threat to the US."
So if Obama and his administration claim there is no immediate threat to the United States, how can he claim he doesn’t need approval when that is an absolute prerequisite?
Now who is talking out of both sides of their mouth?
There is no law that says if a NATO country requests help bombing a country not posing a direct and imminent threat to the US or any other NATO country that the president can strike without congress.
Thank God you weren't around when France wanted us to nuke Vietnam in the 1950s.
There is also no law that says that if a country violates a UN resolution while not posing a direct and imminent threat that the president can strike it without congress.
Bush had stronger legal reasons to go into Iraq without congress as Saddam broke the treaty with the US multiple times that said an instant state of war would resume and he broke countless UN resolutions.
Still Bush went through congress.
Be honest, you wouldn't have approved of Bush not going through congress on Iraq.
Oh wait never-mind, you like to pretend Bush attacked Iraq all by himself.
Stiil can’t see how you can justify Obama’s actions when you condemned Bush’s actions.
Who is the real warmonger? Obama has now bombed 7 countries.

It looks like The White House purposely took you off course, and that's a good thing. Maybe you should go screeching up to a microphone somewhere like those other 2 idiots, McCain and Graham, and complain about Obama, repeatedly!!! You seem too young to be an old hairbag!!

No the Whitehouse did not take me off course.
I understand this administration’s careful parsing of speech; they have been doing it since day one. "Imminent attack plotting" is not the same as an attack is imminent. Careful parsing of language speaks to deliberate misleading. Or more to the point another LIE.
You were either duped or you are perfectly willing to support a lie because it’s your guy.
How often were we told that Iraq was stable and al-Qaeda was defeated during the 2012 campaign? "Bin Laden is dead and al-Qaeda is decimated." It was a mantra! The truth is that Khorasan is core al-Qaeda, Bin Laden's inner circle and top operatives that simply moved from Pakistan to Syria. Now suddenly they are an imminent threat!
Obama has denied and ignored the threat of Islamic terrorism. He truly believed that by making his disgusting apologies for America, and by the sheer force of his persona, he could take them. It has been painfully clear the reset button has failed and he has been trying to run out the clock by doing nothing and hoping he could keep from doing anything before his term ends.
Now he's in it up to his head.

In 6 years, has Obama ever told us there was an increased terror threat?

Deliberately misleading, exactly!!!! That is what he does ALL THE TIME!!! Even in his campaign with "hope and change" and people fell for it.
