Four tours in Iraq doesn't qualify an individual from commenting on Iran. For example, Iran's navy is composed of nothing larger than a frigate—which is smaller than a destroyer.

Steinitz: Iran deal won’t provide insurance for even a year unless loopholes closed

The framework deal with Iran doesn’t even provide safety for a year, Strategic Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said on Tuesday. He was reacting to a media blitz by US President Barack Obama assuring the public that the agreement would curb Tehran’s nuclear program for over a decade.

Obama “says we have insurance here for 10 years, but I say we don’t have insurance here for even one or two years unless the loopholes are closed, and only then could it become a more reasonable agreement,” Steinitz said, adding that “I wouldn’t trust this deal if it was home insurance, and certainly not if it was life insurance.”

To his sorrow, he said, Israel’s role here is to “ruin the party” that occurred last week in Lausanne, Switzerland, where the six world powers reached a framework agreement with Iran. The US hopes to finalize the final details of the agreement in June.

Steinitz declared that it is a bad deal with many loopholes.

Among the items that concern him is that the deal would allow Iran to continue its research and development on more advanced, faster centrifuges to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.

“It is extremely significant,” Steinitz said in a briefing he gave in Jerusalem on Monday about the agreement.

Iran is safe for the next 1½ years, because Grubers helped to elect an impossibly weak President! This makes war even more likely, as the Saudis and Israelis have a joint interest in nuking Iran in a preemptive strike—as Israel has done in the past to its enemies.

Obama's Iran Deal May Lead to Nuclear War

Goldberg: What is Obama seeking here, in your mind?

Cotton: Well, I think he clearly wants to have a kind of grand rapprochement with Iran. This goes back to his actions in his earliest days, when he was silent in the face of [Iran's] Green Revolution, and even some of his statements in the campaign.

Goldberg: What's wrong with wanting a grand rapprochement with Iran?

Cotton: I would love to see that happen. As Secretary Schultz and Secretary Kissinger wrote, they've been in government when Iran was an ally, not just of the United States but of Israel. The Iranian people, if you look at their demographics and their level of education, could be a strong source for stability in the Middle East. The problem is they're run by an apocalyptic cult of ayatollahs.

Goldberg: How do you know they're apocalyptic?

Cotton: Their own words.

Goldberg: They seem to respond to incentives unlike, say, North Korea.

Cotton: They react to threats that are severe enough. But it would be different if they had nuclear weapons. They refer to Israel as a "one-bomb state," which as you know means that Israel can be annihilated with one bomb.

Goldberg: So, is it unfair of me to say that your path would lead us to either total capitulation to a nuclear Iran or a military confrontation with Iran within the next six to 18 months?

Cotton: I think the more likely outcome is a total capitulation because of the proposal that we have made. I also think that military confrontation is possible, although it would be a conventional military confrontation. If we agreed to the kind of proposal the Obama administration has made, then military confrontation may be further off, but it might also be nuclear."

'Better hope that Obama is gone before "Death to America" becomes news—rather than a threat.

Yes, we have the most powerful air force in the history of the world, but no, that doesn’t make airstrikes a panacea for every foreign policy problem. When errant bombs strike schools and hospitals, and in turn radicalize more terrorists than were killed in the initial air strike, we fail to gain any advantage from that operation.

The author is right.

Cotton represents the very worst of the dead end, Bill Kristol wing of the GOP; Israel Firsters and Warvangelicals.

IF the author is right, why is Obama using (only) the Air Force to quell the "JV" team of present-day ISIS—whose influence can now be seen in the state of New Mexico, according to the Mexican Army and police—today?

'Course, this cartoon and text appeared recently, sponsored by ISIS:

Affiliates of the Islamic State group have released an animated video depicting a jihadist beheading US President Barack Obama.

The clip, which was uploaded and translated on Saturday by MEMRI, a US-based Middle Eastern media watchdog group, begins with the words “Message to America,” followed by a scene portraying the American president on his knees and crying profusely.

The president’s head is seen held by “Jihadi John” — the British citizen infamous for his role in videos showing the grisly executions of Western citizens captured by the terrorist group — who slaps the American president on the head, calling him a “mule” in Arabic.

“This knife has been craving Obama’s stinky blood and today Allah gave us the power to capture the mule of the Jews,” the executioner says, slapping the president once again and demanding he speak.

“Mom! Dad! Jihadi John is going to slaughter me! Save me!” Obama says in Arabic before the cartoon depicts the jihadist severing the neck of the American commander-in-chief.

ISIS is in Mexico, across the line from New Mexico, where Governor Richardson approved giving anybody drivers licenses.

ISIS Camp a Few Miles from Texas, Mexican Authorities Confirm

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

Mexican intelligence sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also say that ISIS has “spotters” located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra and Chaparral, NM.

How is blowing Iran sky high going to accomplish getting rid of ISIS camps right over the border in Mexico?

All that will accomplish is create millions of Iranians hell bent on vengeance, heading that way.

As if they don't have enough good reasons to hate us.

You make my, and the Paul's, point.

The nation's defense should be here, defending the nation, not being the military strong arm for Israel and the UN.

We waited two years after Canada entered the war. We delayed war preparations that could have saved 100s of thousands of lives—until Pearl Harbor.

You want to wait to see what appears on Obumble's Teleprompters?

This administration shifted into STUPID on day one, and hasn’t changed gears since.

ISIS is very near El Paso, which means "The Pass" en Espanol.

Today, an ISIS jihadist was arrested in Ohio. (!)

Shall we wait until we see an ISIS training camp at Disney World?

Or a dirty bomb delivered to DC by gyro-copter?
