Re: Iraq War Supporters Run For The Hills
There were very few people in this country that did not support the war in Iraq, including Ms Clinton IIRC. It is very easy to use hindsight.

Re: Iraq War Supporters Run For The Hills
I remember that very well, and then I became extremely disappointed when it appeared that we were being manipulated with the information they were giving us. It got much worse when we found out that the plan was there was no plan to fill the vacuum we created. Just when you think it can't get any worse, all of a sudden Obama is getting blamed for the botch job. Here is the history: Bush negotiated and signed the agreement to get us out of Iraq, and when things started looking a little shaky Obama made the overture to keep some of our people there, but Maliki refused to offer our people immunity from any prosecutions. That's what happened, and now all of a sudden the right wing world is re-writing history and blaming Obama for the whole thing. That's nonsense.
And now the warmongers are beating the drum to get us back into Iraq in a combat role because of ISIS, a jihadist group that we have some direct complicity in creating. When will we ever learn to stay away from Sunni-Shiite disputes? They've only been warring for over 1,500 years!
