Obama Slips Up: "We're Training ISIL"

The White House.gov website has corrected an embarrassing mistake made by President Obama during his press briefing yesterday about the Islamic State when the President said that U.S. forces were "training ISIL."

Did you not know that Benghazi is in Libya? Did you not know the Allies returned Benghazi to Libyan troops after routing the Wehrmacht's Field Marshall Erwin Rommel in WWII? Now it's overrun with ISIS.

I said that your quote has NOTHING to do with the title of your thread. You are disingenuous at best.

Benghazi (and all of Libya) was not given back to Libyan troops after Rommel was defeated. What is known as Libya was under both British and French control after the war ended. Libya did not exist in its current state until 1951 by mandate of the UN. Don't try to give history lessons to people that understand history better than you.

Earlier this week Barack Obama spoke to G20 members in Antalya, Turkey about the Muslim issue.
Obama said this:
