Did anyone know Steve Fair who owned Lakeshore Construction? He was only 58.

I've spoken to him for a few hours.

Once, when his 4WD SUV got stuck in my driveway. He'd come to give an estimate on a breakwater, said "no problem" getting out of my driveway—after I'd suggested he park at the top of the drive. He called his crew to run a chain down to get the vehicle up. We had a nice chat at that time.

The second occasion was at his new estate/horse ranch on Lake Wentworth. I'd come to buy the house next door, drove in to the "gravel pit" to check out the elevation of the subject lot, and his dog came to greet us. Walking behind the dog was Steve Fair, so we had nice chat at another time.

He seemed much younger than his age would suggest. pale Sorry to hear of...um, what happened? confused

I thought it might have been a workplace incident. One entire mountain face of his ranch's lot was hanging in mid-air as it was being "mined" for breakwater boulders.

It's that sedentary lifestyle at "work".

More dangerous than smoking:

He also had a noisy speedboat, which doesn't help with aerobic—or upper-body—exercising.

Statin drugs are safe, reliable and cheap today. (For "cheap", my recommendation is Mevacor). They remove the buildups of hard plaque from one's venous system and postpone any onset of Alzheimers/memory loss.

Statins have been studied in Europe for over 30 years.

They haven't lived in that house for quite a while, NH. I understand he wasn't feeling good and had a dr. appt. that day but didn't make it. So I don't think you can blame him for not taking his statins or whatever.

I noticed the lack of activity there.

Did the "ranch" change hands? Question

Yes, but it's not appropriate to discuss on here.
