That article has several comments that make sense.

I agree with the comment,

"Too late! The commies have seized control and also have steered the Republicans toward letting them have their commie ways. The country may well be lost already."

It crept up on us, then overtook us—in a flash!

In my opinion, we are governed by those who feel foreign problems are more important than those facing our own nation.
