Rabid raccoons found in Hanover
Hanover police said they received two separate reports of raccoons acting strangely last week. The raccoons were captured, destroyed and tested positive for rabies.
Police said the raccoons had come in contact with domestic animals.
Police said anyone with pets should make sure they're vaccinated against rabies. Any animals seen acting strangely should be reported to police.
