AT 348 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE BAND OF HEAVY RAIN
RAPIDLY MOVING INTO PARTS OF SOUTHEAST AND SOUTH CENTRAL NEW
HAMPSHIRE AND EXTREME SOUTHWEST MAINE. THIS HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR
OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS AND CAUSE SOME URBAN AND SMALL STREAM
FLOODING ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. SOME OVERFLOWING OF POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS WILL ALSO RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA.

It's 8-PM, and all we've had is a drizzle.

Just curious...Why, after hundreds of years—and the invention of the bulldozer—do we still have flooding in New Hampshire? Every culvert should be designed as a "catchment-basin".

...easy-peasey...

Cool

You sound like that cat from Winni.com who lives on the Walmart side of the lake.

Speaking of him, I think that signature line is great. So clever. We snobs on this side of the lake always thought of that side of the lake that way-way before the days of Walmart. Really, because it was more commercial I guess, but somehow we always thought we were better over here.

Surprised I think I've just been insulted—but can't be sure!

Yes yes, indeed...I'm the "bitter, unfriendly one "....I don't know your area but this just says it all.
I find your elitist attitudes to be disgusting...that may account for much of my disdain towards a few of you here.
I have been blessed w/ more than enough and I believe in sharing my blessings, when was the last time you helped out a person in need?

I agree. We were prouder then of where we lived. That's what happens when you share something special with too many people.

True, fsh, but some people love the city and you have to admit, it is a lot more convenient for them when you need to buy something that you can't buy here. I still can't believe you can't buy a sheet or towel or jeans or thread or (and the list goes on) in town.

Everything you need from day to day are within 20 minutes from downtown. Sometimes it's the lack of convenience that helps a place stay different.
