May Jobs Report
The government added a solid 175,000 jobs in May, however the unemployment rate popped up to 7.6%. There was a loss of 14,000 government jobs in May, putting them down 45,000 jobs since March:

Those are mostly part time summer jobs. So i think that brings the number down to only about 11,760,000 still out of work.

Too bad we couldn't get some private sector jobs. Government jobs put people to work but it only makes costs go up so it doesn't help much. I am glad to see gov. jobs are down, actually.
