He catches criminals and gets charged

CLYDE, N.Y. — A New York man who says he caught four boys vandalizing his father-in-law's home has been charged with child endangerment after corralling them in a closet until police arrived.
Jesse Daniels was charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child after authorities say he interrupted the vandalism at the empty home in the Wayne County village of Clyde.
Daniels tells WHEC-TV in Rochester he heard pounding June 8 and went to investigate while his wife called 911.
He says he found four boys, ages 8 and 10, inside with hammers. He says he took a hammer from one, then stuck the boys in a closet until officers arrived.
Their parents say Daniels handled the boys roughly.
The boys have been charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

Never Call Cops.

There is very little in life that can be solved or made better by calling one of the state's enforcers into the mix.

It usually just ends up in somebody getting arrested, or worse.

Fsh, I don't think he did something wrong.  What was he supposed to do?  Sit them down and feed them pancakes?

I think so, certainly.

The entire training structure has changed, I think I've gone into this before, it's called: Circular Force Continuum.

Cops are now trained that their safety is top priority, and they can and will use any force they want, up to and including lethal force, as long as they can say their safety was at risk.

So you now have cops blowing away dogs, blowing away people, blowing away kids, many time with little or no justification, at an increasing level.

Calling cops into a "hot" situation is extraordinarily dangerous, and to be avoided at all costs.

Wow, that's scary.  I didn't realize things had changed that much.

With the steady growth of "public-safety" unions, police practices to preserve their paychecks has also grown.

Of course, the taxpayer pays for every part of it!
