Power grid to "shut down".

I haven't heard a thing about this until last night. Wonder why it is such a big secret? Someone last night said it is more crowd control than anything.

I read an article about that a couple of weeks ago (NYT). They feel that a good hacker may be able to do some serious damage to our electric grid, and that's why the drill.
