Lerner retires.

The Internal Revenue Service said Monday that Lois G. Lerner, the woman at the center of the tea party targeting scandal, has resigned from the agency — though because of privacy rules it could say nothing more.

Ms. Lerner, who had been on paid administrative leave, was the director of the division that reviewed the applications for tax-exempt status from political groups over the past few years and that, according to an internal audit, gave extra scrutiny to tea party and other conservative groups.

She remains subject to congressional investigation.

I didn't read the link but I bet it doesn't tell you how much she is getting in her retirement. But I bet you and I would be thrilled to get what she is getting in her retirement!!!

If I were her I'd be worried about a dirt bed!

The privacy of "teabaggers" and "right wing extremists" is to be ignored.

 

What Lerner did was even more insidious than stealing money. She stole liberty.
 
By her actions, she denied to numerous lawful organizations, their employees, and potential donors their constitutionally guaranteed rights to political association and redress, and to have the laws of the land applied fairly and equally to them. And for this, Lois Lerner escapes unscathed. Who will recompense those victims for the harm done them? "

What I would like to know is, how much did she slow down the momentum of conservative movement? How many more people might have become involved if she hadn't slowed down that momentum. Did her actions influence the outcome of the election?
