Has obama Actually Accomplished Anything Positive in 5 Years?

Has this man ever made a personal sacrifice for the benefit of others? Ever?

Even Jimmy Carter did some good things while claiming the title of most inept president ever. (Note – to qualify as “most inept” you must have completed your tour as president. obama is still in the running with just over 3 years to go.)

Carter may have been a poor leader, but most people think his heart was in the right place. He had very little ego and a lot of teeth. His wife on the other hand…

But what has the first African-American president done other than look black?

The economy was in the tank when he took over. That I will give him.

But the economy has not really improved. The stock market is doing well, but the Federal Reserve is pumping so much money in there that is, at some point, going to bite us in the arse. And hard. The “Quantitative Easing” has done nothing more than artificially stimulated the markets. Even the mention of slowing the free money sends the “street” into a selling frenzy.

And while the unemployment rate has dropped to “only” 7.5%, we now have fewer people actually working than in 1971. And they stop counting those that have given up.

And it is very unfortunate that the number of part time workers has continued to rise as fewer and fewer employers can afford the government mandates that Obama has forced upon them for full time employees.

oamaCare is one of the leading reasons that employment is paralyzed. When a company grows to 50 employees, the health care requirements are so expensive that it will no longer make economic sense to grow your company beyond 49 employees. Adding that 50th position will suck much needed cash from a companies bottom line and the cost benefit analysis will prohibit growth.

And even worse, companies just a bit over the 50 person limit are even now cutting back on workers and cutting existing worker’s hours to avoid the expensive health care requirements of obamaCare.

And the obama response is to delay the mandate until after the mid term elections.

And in California, United Healthcare followed Aetna and pulled out of the California market

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Thursday said she can’t answer for why pork-barrel items snuck into the debt and spending bill that passed Congress late Thursday, but said the press should stop focusing on that and instead look at the broader debt fight.

“What difference does it make?” Mrs. Pelosi said when she was asked repeatedly about the items, which include a $174,000 payment to the widow of the late multimillionaire Sen. Frank Lautenberg and a $2 billion maximum price increase on a dam project on the Ohio River that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had supported as an earmark in previous years.

The House Democratic leader said there were other reasons to be upset with the bill, including that it doesn’t spend as much as she wanted. But she said focusing on pork projects was missing the fight.

“If you want to have an objection to the bill, there are bigger things,” she said.

Obama pulled us back from the brink of disaster, despite the Tea Party!!

On Thursday's CBS This Morning, Sharyl Attkisson revealed a new debacle involving the smuggling of weapons into Mexico on the Obama administration's watch.

Attkisson pointed out how "a grenade used in the murders of three Mexican police officers last week has been linked to an alleged arms trafficker that U.S. officials left on the street to operate long after they had evidence of his crimes."

The correspondent, whose reporting on the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal won CBS Evening News an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2012, also underlined that this blundered operation was "overseen by the same U.S. attorney and ATF office in Arizona that let suspects traffic thousands of weapons to Mexican drug cartels in the case 'Fast and Furious'".

Anchor Norah O'Donnell summarized the case in her introduction for Attkisson's report:

"Federal investigators are looking at a deadly drug cartel shootout in Mexico. It's apparently connected to an American whom the Justice Department tracked for years without arresting."

The journalist then detailed the circumstances of the firefight, and how the ATF linked one of the grenades used in the incident to the American weapons smuggler, despite an official denial:

Benghazi, IRS, NSA, Iran, Putin, guns, grenades, drones...whatever. What difference, at this point, does it make?

Hopefully NB will wake up someday, but I don't know if I am optimistic.

Authorities say Ronald and Alana Russo were pummeled by attackers — ranging in age from 12 to 18 — who showered them with racial slurs. One Brooklyn teen says he was falsely arrested because he was wearing the same outfit as one of the assailants.

A group of 10 black youths — one of them a 12-year-old girl — surrounded a white couple's car in Brooklyn, viciously beating the husband and yanking the wife to the pavement by her hair as they peppered the two with racial slurs, authorities said.

“Get those crackers!” some of them screamed, according to court papers. “Get that white whore!”

The confrontation erupted about 7 p.m. Monday, as the marauding group crossed Avenue U at E. 58th St. near Kings Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin.
Ronald Russo, 30, and his wife, Alanna, apparently had the green light and the husband honked at the group to get out of the way. The rowdy kids started kicking the car, according to the criminal complaint. Ronald Russo got out to check on potential damage to his vehicle.

And that’s when all hell broke loose.

Ronald Russo was dragged to the ground. Then he was punched and kicked in the head. He felt more blows all over his body, investigators said. He suffered a fractured nose, a broken septum, a blood clot and abrasions to his shoulder. He was treated and released from Beth Israel Medical Center.

In the midst of the attack, there was a steady chorus of epithets. “White motherf-----!” screamed the attackers, who ranged in age from 12 to 18.
Alanna Russo, 30, was calling 911 when the 12-year-old girl pulled the woman’s hair and threw her to the ground. The victim’s head slammed into the concrete. She suffered a black eye, bleeding and difficulty breathing, prosecutors said, but she refused medical attention.

Her husband’s iPhone was stolen during the melee, according to cops.

The kids scattered after the brazen attack. But two teens, Kashawn Kirton and Daehrell Finch, were arrested at a nearby Lowe’s store parking lot minutes afterward.

The Obama administration said Sunday it is calling in the “best and brightest” tech experts to help fix the bug-laden federal website that’s tarnished the rollout of the new health care law and galvanized the overhaul’s fiercest critics in Congress.

In a blog post, the Department of Health and Human Services struck a contrite tone after boasting that the site, which is supposed to help people in 36 states sign up for private coverage, has received 19 million unique visits since its debut on Oct. 1.

“Unfortunately, the experience on HealthCare.gov has been frustrating for many Americans,” the agency said. “Some have had trouble creating accounts and logging in to the site, while others have received confusing error messages, or had to wait for slow page loads or forms that failed to respond in a timely fashion. The initial consumer experience of HealthCare.gov has not lived up to the expectations of the American people. We are committed to doing better.”

The rocky launch of online insurance markets tied to the Affordable Care Act has disappointed even the law’s most ardent supporters, with pundits wondering how an Obama team known for its cutting-edge leveraging of technology during two presidential campaigns could flub the architecture of the administration’s signature domestic achievement.

I thought for sure obama was going to use todays talk in the Rose Garden to convey his concern following the racially motivated attack by the gang of young blacks on the white couple in NY City. Especially after he got so many negative comments from across America  after he shut down all our National Parks and tried to keep the Veterans out of public National Monuments dedicated to our Armed Forces. He missed another opportunity to slow our countrie's divide.

He WANTS the country divided, fsh. He worked hard to divide us and I must say that is the one thing he has done well.
