From the article:

The County that could "swing" it...

No

"Two people would get through and then we'd stop and wait and then just kept going over and over. And the poor IT guy, he was working everything he could, but he told me that the connectivity problem was a countywide problem."

Why do they allow a third party to become involved? The 6.5% helped determine the election. What if the reason Sarvis ran was to take away votes from Cuccinelli? I'm sure that it is possible that Sarvis' intentions were honorable.

Why would a "Libertarian" help a Democrat?

Polling problems in VA. already Empty A kittle sketchy.

Robert Sarvis has looked a little sketchy as a “libertarian” all along, since he’s kind of just a pro-choice, pro-gay marriage Republican, which I guess is about as close to a “libertarian” as you get in a legitimate political race but isn’t going to hand out copies of the 4th Amendment and Atlas Shrugged on the campaign trail, but today’s revelations – albeit a little late to really have any impact for Cuccinelli – seem to lend a little credence to the idea that he’s pretty much just a spoiler.

One of Sarvis’ main financial backers seems to be Libertarian Booster PAC, which given that it’s helmed by Joe Liemandt, an Austin, Texas Obama bundler and donor, has “boosting Libertarians” on it’s agenda solely to kneecap Republicans, which, in Virginia, it’s done admirably.

Campaign finance records show the Libertarian Booster PAC has made the largest independent contribution to Sarvis’ campaign, helping to pay for professional petition circulators who collected signatures necessary to get Sarvis’ name on Tuesday’s statewide ballot.

Austin, Texas, software billionaire Joe Liemandt is the Libertarian Booster PAC’s major benefactor. He’s also a top bundler for President Barack Obama. This revelation comes as Virginia voters head to the polls Tuesday in an election where some observers say the third-party gubernatorial candidate could be a spoiler for Republican Ken Cuccinelli.

A spokesman for Sarvis provided no direct answers late Monday when TheBlaze asked about Liemandt’s Democrat ties and whether Sarvis had been recruited to split conservative votes as a way to aid Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

“We’re coordinating Sarvis interviews with Richmond, Norfolk and Charlottesville TV news teams to reach Virginia voters – our first priority – on Election Eve,” John Vaught LaBeaume, Sarvis communications director and strategist, responded in an email to TheBlaze.

A donor to the Democratic Party of Virginia and bundler for Barack Obama funded a political action committee that provided Virginia Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Robert Sarvis with a crucial campaign contribution that helped get him on the ballot.

Campaign records show that Sarvis’ largest contributor is Libertarian Booster PAC which provided $11,454 to the campaign to assist with signature collection and campaign materials. Billionaire Joe Liemandt provided Libertarian Booster PAC with $150,000 this year, making him their biggest donor.

Liemandt and his wife also contributed $4,090 to the Democratic Party of Virginia in 2012. They have contributed at least $175,200 to the Democratic National Committee since 2010, according to CQ Moneyline.
