Sure is cold. And I have a head cold besides and I have been cold most of the day and have a headache that won't quit.

This add is at the top of this forum as an advertisement. I thought I would copy and paste it here hoping that it might help you get better.

The forecasters are predicting minus 12 degrees. That's colder than a witch's tit!

Never seen that ad (not add) here.
Although posting photos of Hillary is fair game in political forums, is it also fair to ask if the News Crows (and you) have stopped supporting Barack Hussein Obama by omitting His image?

For the headache, have you tried Aleve®? (Time-released aspirin).
For the cold, have you tried Emergen-C®? My NH neighbor gave me several to try. When I went to buy some, I asked an approaching clerk where it was. It just so happened that she was carrying packs of Emergen-C® for the shelves, placed them on the shelves—in the aisle opposite Airborne®—gave a "thumbs-up", and gave the boxes some pats!

SHE was "first in line" in 2008.

Love that. Bosses are tough!!
I have taken aspirin and ibupropen and imitrex for the headache, nothing for the cold. Used some nose spray too. Sometimes I think the spray gives me more of a headaches after it wears off. It is better today anyway, just tired.

Do you get much anaerobic exercise? Do you have a lot of cellulite on your hips and legs. The reason I asked is because people who don't use their bodies much will have headaches. Also the older you get the fatter you get and your arteries plug up that will stop the circulation to your brain.
Not saying that you are fat or anything, I was just wondering.

Not that it's any of your business but I am a very active person. I am not a couch potato. I have had headaches since I was 16-maybe before. I take no pills for anything-no high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, no nothing. The only thing I take is imitrex for migraines which people like you give me.

Over weight people have almost twice as many headaches as people with normal weight do. Lack of exercise and sitting on their butts too much shuts the circulation down to the brain, hence migraines.
Women have unhealthy fat around their hips and legs. Blood can't get to the brain, the lower body won't let it.
I'm not saying that is your problem, I'm just saying that it effects a lot of women.
Being active isn't the same as running 2-3 miles a day. You need to get the blood moving for an extended period of time.

"People who have the occasional migraine are more likely to suffer from obesity, compared with those who do not have migraines, according to a study published in the journal Neurology."

"Migraine affects about 10 to 15% of the general population and can cause a substantial personal, occupational and social burden," he adds.
"Scientists have discovered that migraines may affect the long-term structure of the brain and increase the risk of brain lesions, according to a study published in the journal Neurology."

Doctors nearly always will tell you, "you can lose some weight". The criteria for "obese" seems to be creeping to even those who are "fit".Achigan wrote:"...Not saying that you are fat or anything, I was just wondering..."
Ever notice that those who have the leanest bodies will eventually step outside for a smoke?

I just had an MRI in Oct. and my brain is fine. In fact my Neurologists exact words were: "There is nothing wrong with your brain. You have a beautiful brain."

Your medical doctor doesn't know what's inside your brain for information though. I think that might be causing some of your headaches.
Very seldom do you ever say anything positive about life.

I think that you are truly a nice person. The problem with this forum is that you have three very negative members who constantly post things that are depressing to read. fsh, NH, and Anti only post negative articles and you get yourself caught up in them and it bothers you. Then when someone other then a conservative expresses their view, all three of them google the internet to constantly bombard you with more negative thoughts.
There is no administrative control on this forum so all three of them get away with their nonsense.

Re: Nor' easter on the way?
WEll I like to think I am a nice person, I try to be a nice person, but I have to disagree about the three members you mentioned. I think they are as worried about this country -the way it is being run- as I am and they know it cannot continue this way. I don't think they are negative but worried like I am and would like to change things and vent their frustration here as I do. I am sure it doesn't do much good but we feel like it is better than saying nothing. I know you and your liberal friends feel your way is right just as much as we do. I don't understand how you can, but I know you do. I, too, think it is wonderful if everyone could have everything, but it just isn't that way. You are too unrealistic. We do it in our society with money. In the animal world if the animals don't pull their fair share, they die. So the do because they have to. Eventually the worker bees will die and can't take care of the rest any more. Or they just get tired of being the slaves and decide to take too. Then where are they? Just some random thoughts.

They're as wrong now as when their first Progressive hero, Woodrow Wilson, ran on his party's invented promise—as WWI was raging in Europe:WHL wrote:"...I know you and your liberal friends feel your way is right just as much as we do..."
