He spoke the truth and then knew the media would attack him so he had better back off. It happens all the time.

He probably doesn't. The Republican are all afraid of the mainstream media because they know what the media does to them. It's not too hard to improve on a complete disaster because the only way to go is up, and I'm thinking that Kerry would have been very proactive in minimizing the recession. Remember the Great Recession? That's when Bush presided over a near complete collapse of our financial system, and yet you laud that idiot!

The article says that lower cost coal production in Wyoming and Illinois and the increase of production of natural gas is what's causing the decline in Kentucky coal production. You would think that Kentucky senators Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul would be pounding the beat to get some stimulus going for the unemployed in their home state, but they're always wandering about the country and flapping their jaws about how bad Obama is. What about Kentucky? Don't be surprised if Grimes wins!
