Progressive Boat Insurance a Bad Deal? Empty Progressive Boat Insurance a Bad Deal?

Post  News Hawk Wed Sep 09, 2015 9:13 am

From FATP:

I've heard bad things about how Progressive handles claims.

Charter Lakes (http://www.charterlakes.com/) and Boat US (http://www.boatus.com/insurance/) seem to have a sterling reputation in the industry.

Make sure to read up on Agreed Value vs. ACV (Actual Cash Value) policies - http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f128/boat-insurance-agreed-value-vs-actual-cash-value-policies-57657.html

Unless you really like donating to the ACLU.

I know, I have a couple of policies with them and wish I didn't because of the liberalism. I haven't had any claims but I know they price ok.
