Lancaster police warn about possible paving scam.

Post  fshnski on Wed Jun 19, 2013 1:59 pm

I had a similar experience here in Wolfeboro a couple of weeks ago. I told them to get.

Don't bother going to the link. That's the whole story right here. I don't think WMUR could have supplied much less information. They don't say whether they were male or female, what they looked like or what the car looked like, nothing!

Lancaster police asked homeowners to be on alert for a possible paving scam.

Authorities said scammers were offering to pave driveways at a reduced rate, but after completing the work they charged a much higher price.
Homeowners were encouraged to contact police and check on the integrity of any company offering paving work.

This "alert" happens every year in New Hampshire—and all along the US East Coast—including Florida.

I seem  to recall there's a family of these "Gypsys"  in Woofburah.

You'd think they'd spend a year in jail—one of 'em, anyway.
