Increasingly, that is, in fact, getting harder and harder to do.

The countries around the world that have a higher standard of living and greater degree of freedom than we do, also have not lost their minds, and people can not just wander in, whenever they feel like it.

Not to mention, the US taxing and regulatory authorities are expanding their reach and "jurisdiction" to hound you down anywhere in the world.

Which is why, last year, there was a six fold increase in people renouncing their US citizenship altogether.

It's called checks and balances and I have learned to live with it.

It must be nice to live in your land of make believe. It seems like a land where everybody is equal. A land where hard workers are no different than those that contribute the least. It's a land of make believe where everything is acceptable, no matter who it inconveniences. A land who's doors are open to the less fortunate of the world, whether they will earn their keep or not. That is not a great country. That is a country out of control and headed towards ruin.

No hatred here, since I view both parties as basically two sides of the same coin. A left boot and a right boot of tyranny.

So why is this country great?

If it's great because of liberty, then something needs to be done, soon, because you can no longer call this a free country.

It's not "bashing".

It's raising awareness of how dire the situation is.

Those here who have known me for many years, know I said the same things about GWB.

Great remarks! Dems live in la la land. And the country is indeed out of control and headed toward ruin.

I do agree with Anti that many Repubs. are just as bad. But there are good ones: Paul and Paul, Cruz, Bachman to name a few. If only the RINOS would wake up. But again, there is that little matter of the press which make the Tea Party Republicans out to be nutcases.
