There was dozens of folks ...
… downtown when I drove through after going to the dump. I hope they remembered their woolies!

I love to go to the early fireworks but I am a chicken tonight. It is just too cold to go out.

Speaking of the dump:
I always manage to surprise myself with how little of my "litter" goes into the "burn-bin". Recycling should be promoted more in Wolfeboro.
All year long, I save all my rechargeable and Lithium batteries to help keep us independent of China's near-monopoly on Lithium and other Rare Earths elements.

Re: There was dozens of folks ...
What do you want Wolfeboro to do to promote recycling better? The place is set-up pretty good for recycling and from what I see everyone is trying to do their part.
I guess I don't know what you mean by "promoted more".

We can't do much better in terms of recycling. The Solid Waste Facility has a great system and most citizens seem to be on board. Even our burnable trash creates energy!

Drive around summers in Wolfeboro, and you'll see (mostly) seasonal people with several big black garbage bags waiting for a dump at the (Rochester?) landfill. They need to be brought onboard with Wolfeboro's recycling center. IMHO.
