Sarah Silverman celebrated Christmas in her usual mode: mocking Christians, and religion in general. On Twitter, she wrote “Happy Birthday, Jesus! I'm sorry [you] were murdered by people afraid of new ideas!”

Her last HBO special in 2002 was even mockingly titled “Jesus Is Magic.” Her new special was called “We Are Miracles.” Once again in the new show, she made fun of the death of Jesus, as a Jew: “You’re welcome. If we hadn’t killed him, he wouldn’t even be famous.”

Silverman then mentioned Scientology as crazy, but added “its no more bats--t crazy than every single religion. It’s just new. Christianity is super-old, but its f---ing crazy.” Silverman turned to mocking Catholics and confession. She claimed that Hitler could kill six million Jews, then go to confession, and have a priest say, “no problem, say ten Heil Marys, and Hitler goes to Heaven!”

She also praised the late Mother Teresa for not being obsessed with her body image, then went for the humor by calling her “stick thin,” and adding “f—ing bitch.”

Silverman and Bill Maher are religion-trashing peas in a pod for HBO. This woman lives for gags like this: “Don’t forget, God can see you masturbating. But don’t stop. He’s almost there.”

Silverman hates how separation of church and state – which leftists always think is actually text in the Constitution – is a joke in America, since “In God We Trust” is on the money, and witnesses in court swear to tell the truth on the Bible and say “so help me God.”  She sputtered, “If I tell the truth, it's because I tell the truth, not because I put my hand on a book and made a wish. It's f---ing crazy!”

The “We Are Miracles” title referred to the “science-based” miracle that “We were all once a microscopic speck,” leading to a joke that she began in her father’s testicles and and then flopping spectacularly in an incest joke. At least this atheist who just hosted a New York telethon for free abortions in Texas didn’t attempt to reconcile her “unborn speck miracle” talk with her fist-pumping feminism. She might have pulled a mental muscle.

Silverman also unloaded a typically scabrous joke about “praying” for Republican sperm that dies inside the rear ends of prostitutes. “Surely there are Democrats that have butt sex with prostitutes and you’re 100 percent right there are, but Democrats aren’t trying to take my rights away.”

Silverman spares nothing in her attempts at humor. She made up a fake study saying September 11 widows are better at casual sex acts, and said she loved rape jokes because who would object? “I’d say rape victims, but they’re traditionally not complainers.”

Sarah Silverman isn't taking the voter ID laws complicating the 2012 election lightly. After all, who's going to look out for black people, poor people, old people and students if not America's potty-mouthed comedic sweetheart?

Making it illegal to vote without a photo ID is supposed to prevent voter fraud, but as Sarah points out in this NSFW PSA, some politicians like Rep. Mike Turzai (R-PA) really want voter ID laws in place to prevent certain demographics from voting (for Barack Obama). Also, what exactly is all this "voter fraud" we're supposed to be so afraid of?

"Oh yeah, all that crazy 'voter fraud' that's going around. There's so much 'fraud' around that free, anonymous civil right," she jokes.

If that weren't enough, Sarah points out that U.S. Veteran photo ID cards, social security cards and student IDs are not accepted under the laws, but you can use gun permit IDs. You just can't make this stuff up.

Ennisha Devers has broken her silence after her 2-year-old was taken into protective custody. The boy was captured on video using foul language and slurs. Four children were taken into custody, but investigators said it was due to a violent atmosphere in the - not the video. The Omaha Police Officers Association created controversy earlier this week for posting the video to educate the public about the ‘terrible cycle of violence and thuggery.’ Critics called the post racist and unnecessary.

The mother of the 2-year-old Nebraska tot seen in a viral video unleashing a coarse tirade has broken her silence to defend her parenting skills.
Officials revealed that the boy was taken into protective custody because of the constant presence of gang members and guns around the family, including an instance last year when the baby was struck by a stray bullet, according to reports.

Ennisha Devers, 16, told KETV7 she was in another room when the child was filmed spouting obscenities including “b----,” “F---,” and the N-word.

“Everybody that thinks I'm a bad mother, I'm not. I’m a good mother to my son. I teach him a lot, and he is very smart,” Devers told KETV. “All that cussing that he did, he doesn't do that. Somebody told him to do that. My son doesn't do that. I don't allow it."

The Omaha Police Officers Association, which lifted the video from a Facebook page and offered its own commentary on the “cycle of violence and thuggery,” came under heavy scrutiny after the explicit temper tantrum went viral.

Critics said that the video only further exploited the tot and perpetuated stereotypes.

But the family is no stranger to crime and violence, according to officials. The unidentified kid’s grandparents, Kim Devers and Ennis Devers Sr., are both awaiting trial on gun charges, WOWT reported.
With the elder adults in jail, Kierra Johnson, 19, was left to keep the house in order. But later she phoned social workers after becoming overwhelmed with the burden of child care while the Deverses were locked up.

The state had foot the bill twice to have the family relocated — but known gang members were still allowed to roam the home and guns were brandished near the child, investigators discovered.

“They didn't come because the video. They came because of the gang violence and everything that happened with us,” Ennisha Devers told KETV.

“They weren't worried about the video because he had a clean diaper. The house was clean. Like they said, kids cuss.”

Ennisha Devers, her 15-year-old and 12-year-old siblings, and the tot at the center of the controversy are all in protective custody.

Johnson’s child was also taken into state custody.

It was also revealed that the foul-mouthed child and Ennisha Devers were among four people shot last October when a gunman opened fire on their family home near 42nd St. and Browne St., according to reports.

The child was grazed on the foot by shrapnel, while Devers was struck in the shoulder by a stray bullet, WOWT TV reported.

Devers is attempting to be placed in the same foster home as her son. A court will decide their placement on Monday.

The Omaha Police Officers Association continued its online campaign as the shocking new details emerged.

“The only fix is to break this cultural cycle,” the group wrote late Thursday on its page.
