So Camp is basically saying that he's got nothing!

Maybe so, but I constantly read around here about the US Constitution. The Fifth Amendment protects us against self incrimination!

Pleading the 5th, does not mean you are guilty.

That being said, asking for immunity is quite another thing.


Why is it the IRS is getting away with refusing to release all her emails?

Where is Obama? Did he not tell the entire country that he wants to get to the truth? So where is he calling for the release of all information being requested?

How can you be perfectly okay with this? You should not give one damn who is in office right now. As an AMERICAN, you should want to know the truth. You should want accountability. What is to stop them from doing this to your side, should corrupt folks on the other side of you aisle get in these positions?

Lois Lerner also said she was in fear for her life if she testified. She states she already got threats.

Hmmmm. Anyone wonder where the threats came from? I have an idea.

NB doesn't care about anything except defending Obama no matter what he does. I would like to know what one thing could possible make NB say a bad thing about Obama.

No one has yet to establish that Obama did anything wrong, WHL, so I don't like convicting anyone based on a witchhunt. I'm sure Lerner asked for immunity because a Republican Congressman on Camp's panel publicly called her a liar. That's a conviction before trial. If they're after Obama, why not give Lerner immunity?

It is an established fact that Obama has lied. Obama has intentionally mislead and deceived this country. How can you say he has done nothing wrong? At this point we do not know his involvement in the IRS scandal (if any). Now maybe you don't want to know, but we have the right to know.

Obama said he was outraged over the IRS scandal. He said discrimination by the IRS is unacceptable. He said he would bring those responsible to justice.


The investigation is not over yet. How can Obama go on TV and state there was not even a "smidgen" of a scandal at the IRS?

How is that not a lie?
How is that not misleading?
How is that not deceitful?

Maybe he is not directly involved with the scandal, but he certainly has not been truthful in addressing the scandal.


Why is the FBI not involved with a death threat to a Fed witness?

It seems to me that Obama's Cabinet got their jobs during Obama's first year in office—irrespective of their having been tax-cheats.

What was the end result? She took the 5th, didn't she? That's when Issa said, on camera, that the case was closed! I read somewhere yesterday that Lerner is cooperating with the Justice Department, so we'll see what happens.

Are you not troubled that Lois Lerner and the Mafia are famous for "taking the Fifth".

I have long maintained that this administration is a government Mafia.

I want to know everything Lerner knows, and now I really want to know who is responsible for the death threats.

It’s funny (well not really) that those who have no problem with the NSA spying because they have nothing to hide, are the same people who have a big problem with getting to the bottom of the IRS Scandal.
