Re: So True...
The world's richest 67 people have the same amount of wealth as the bottom 3.5 billion, and 40% of those 67 people are from The United States! Our country owns 30% of the world's wealth, and yet the Republicans would have us believe that we're broke!

If your criteria for measuring wealth include counting other people’s money…I guess we are not broke.

I think that our holding of almost one third of the world's wealth qualifies us for not being broke! That's just a hoax being perpetrated on us by the likes of the Koch brothers and Sheldon Aldeson to deprive us of our social benefits and first class infrastructure. If the Republicans keep starving us of the necessary funding to operate, then we shall revert to infrastructure similar to the likes of India and Pakistan!

Once again…
Do understand privately held wealth does not belong to the Federal Government?
Are you actually advocating for the confiscation of wealth for social benefits?

Yes!
We represent 5% of the world's population and own 30% of it's wealth, so I don't think it's too much to ask folks to pay more in taxes in what is one of the lowest taxed countries in the world.
That "confiscation of wealth" line is just a bunch of BS!

Outer, as long as it is someone else's wealth. That's how the Dems work. When it actually came right down to it if they made NB give us his SS he would not be happy.

67 people in the world have the same amount of wealth as the bottom 3.5 billion, and 28 of those 67 people are in the United States. As a true Conservative, the first place you look for more revenue is people on Social Security!! I pay income tax on 85% of my Social Security income. That's the maximum and I'm not complaining about it. I have bought into Republican Representative Camp's flat tax proposal. Have you?

Marxism:
"From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs".
In the Marxist view, such an arrangement will be made possible by the abundance of goods and services that a developed communist society will produce; the idea is that, with the full development of socialism and unfettered productive forces, there will be enough to satisfy everyone's needs.[3][4]
