When I experienced the "New Demographic", I noticed that streets were being re-named after obscure Latin American military leaders, Senator Claude Pepper Avenue was shortened to a few blocks, Spanish was spoken in department store announcements, Latins were waited-on first and drug trafficking became very popular.
Oh well, bi-lingualism worked for Canada, didn't it?
