"Renewable Energy" Not Possible...
No sense in riling up America's "Stupid Voters"...
Look at billions wasted by taxpayers on those solar companies now closed....of course the Dims got their donations from our money first.
.
A research effort by Google corporation to make renewable energy viable has been a complete failure, according to the scientists who led the programme. After 4 years of effort, their conclusion is that renewable energy “simply won’t work”.

Re: "Renewable Energy" Not Possible...
That's one of the dumbest articles I have ever read. First of all, 97% of climate scientists in the world say that global warming is very real and very threatening. Burlington, Vermont generates 100% of it's energy from renewables, and Germany generates 30% of it's electricity from renewables. It never ceases to amaze me how so many people in this country can be so stupid! (willingly, no less)

And the earth is doomed by the buffoons who deny climate science. It's truly amazing how we can beat ourselves with our own stupidity!

It's a particularly stupid position to take when you live (or claim to anyway) on the water at 3' elevation....but these dinosaurs will be dead so it doesn't matter to them!

The lack of foresight for future generations is pathetic! I can go on and on about people who are still suffering from Sandy. Raise the house before the big storm heads your way!

Re: "Renewable Energy" Not Possible...
It takes energy to make, install, and eventually recycle "green-energy". All recent "green" attempts wear out or self-destruct. It make take a century to develop the necessary breakthroughs in batteries and necessary solar technology.News Buzzard wrote:That's one of the dumbest articles I have ever read. Over "Green" energy's relatively short lives, Google's engineers found that the energy USED was greater than that PRODUCED. Only geothermal- and hydro-electric energies are self-efficient, and don't require the maintenance that drags "Green" energy down.
Earth's relatively recent geological history shows that North America was covered with major ice sheets three times. The warming that melted the three ice sheets was not from SUVs—or the Industrial Revolution. The Earth at one time became entirely ice-shrouded. Earth missed becoming a frozen ice-ball in space forever at that juncture.
At this time, fossil fuels are abundant and efficient—even helped make the US "energy-self-sufficient".

Right, because you base that assumption on the "FACT" that there have been no technological breakthroughs in the past century. I am so envious of your gifted insight.News Hawk

Has this come down to drinking Kool-Ade vs Google engineers?

It comes down to using a device that did not exist a decade ago to communicate with a close minded Floridian who believes there will be no further technological advances for another century, instantly from my home in New England.News Hawk

Through my gifted insight, I bring you "Fracking", a recent breakthrough that will reduce the cost of energy.

With your gifted insight please explain to we mere mortals how to acquire energy once we run out of oil deposits....do we kill more dinosaurs?

I really think that fracking has at least something to do with the fallen gas and oil prices.

Actually, oil (and coal) was produced by algae and other plant life. Sinclair just used a common misperception for their logo.obervantone wrote:With your gifted insight please explain to we mere mortals how to acquire energy once we run out of oil deposits....do we kill more dinosaurs?
