The latest oddball story about Justin Bieber is set in Europe, and involves an airplane and a pet primate.
The Sun reports that Bieber, 19, sneaked a monkey named Mally onto a private jet, without the papers required by German health laws, and was detained by customs officials -- and may now be facing a fine.
A less breathless account in the AP confirms that Bieber lacked documentation, and that his latest companion, a capuchin monkey, had to stay behind with authorities, under quarantine, after Bieber landed in Munich Thursday.
We can only hope that Michael Jackson's chimp, Bubbles, didn't have to suffer such indignities.
